Hi Jazmine,
The expected deliverable is a report and one call to go over any findings. We can have as many follow-ups via email.
I'll review the current application and architecture, including:
- Authentication and account security
- How user data is stored, accessed, and isolated between users
- Backend APIs and database access
- Sensitive data handling and privacy considerations
- Secrets, credentials, and configuration
- Third-party services and dependencies
- Infrastructure and deployment configuration
- Key application-level vulnerabilities and potential abuse cases
- Architecture considerations for the integrations you want to add later
At the end, I'll break the findings into three buckets:
Fix Before Launch: anything I'd recommend resolving before opening the app publicly.
Fix Next: important improvements that don't necessarily need to delay launch.
Future Hardening: improvements to make as the product grows and you introduce more integrations/sensitive data.
For anything significant, I'll explain the risk, why it's happening, and what I'd recommend doing about it.
