Bridging the nutrition gap between your prescription and health success

The GLP-1 Nutrition Support Programme

The GLP-1 Nutrition Support Programme

£450

More than weight loss: expert nutritional support for your changing body

An 8-week programme led by a Specialist HCPC Registered Dietitian.

If you've been managing your weight for years, you probably already know a lot about food. I'll help you work out which parts matter now that your appetite has changed, and fill in the gaps. All consultations are held remotely, by video or phone call, for your convenience.

What can this programme help with?

  • Getting enough nutrition in: Practical ways to meet your protein and nutritional needs, even when you're eating much less.

  • Managing side effects: Strategies to help you navigate common issues such as constipation, nausea and reflux. To help manage ongoing hair loss and fatigue.

  • Protecting muscle and strength: Understand the role of protein, adequate nutrition and strength-building activity during weight loss.

  • Looking after your midlife health: Where relevant, consider menopause, changing body composition, bone health and other nutritional priorities.

  • Building confidence around food: Develop a realistic eating routine that fits your appetite, preferences and everyday life.

  • Planning for the longer term: Build sustainable habits and understand how to maintain your nutritional health as your needs change.

What is included in the programme?

  • A questionnaire about your health and eating habits. It covers your weight and height, medical history, recent blood tests (if available), medication, any side effects or symptoms, and your personal goals, plus a food and activity diary covering at least 3 days. I'll send it after you book. Please return it at least 48 hours before your initial assessment call.

  • A personalised 60-minute initial assessment with the Specialist Dietitian, by video or phone. We'll go through your nutritional priorities and work out your next steps.

  • Three 30-minute follow-up check-ins, to use at any point in the eight weeks after your initial assessment. Use them to review your progress, troubleshoot difficulties, adapt your plan as your needs change, or get reassurance that you're taking the right steps for you.

  • An individualised nutrition plan, with practical recommendations tailored to your appetite, preferences, nutritional needs and lifestyle.

  • A written plan after each call, to refer back to.

  • Email support between sessions. I aim to reply within 2-3 working days.

  • Access to the GLP-1 Meal Planner, a desktop and mobile app the Specialist Dietitian Soeng Ha has designed, filled with customisable meal planning ideas. You keep access after the 8 weeks have ended.

What can your individualised nutrition plan look like?

  • Your tailored daily target range for calories and protein, plus the micronutrients you may be at risk of missing.

  • An initial 5-day menu plan and shopping list, based on your preferences and cooking ability. It's there to cut through decision paralysis and make that first week easier to start.

  • A list of foods / snacks / drinks specifically tailored around your symptoms and appetite levels to refer back to

  • Practical strategies for you to manage your current side effects and potential understanding of why they are happening

  • Recommendations for appropriate protein-rich supplements, vitamins and minerals to consider, if applicable.

  • Guidance on using the GLP-1 Meal Planner for your future meal planning, supporting long term management rather than just a quick meal plan.

  • If applicable: activities to practise if you find stress or comfort eating gets in the way.

Is the programme right for you?

This programme is for you if you:

  • Are already taking Mounjaro, Wegovy or another GLP-1 medication, or are just starting.

  • Want practical help with eating well as your appetite changes.

  • Are struggling with digestive symptoms, or aren't sure whether you're meeting your nutritional needs.

  • Want to support muscle and strength during weight loss.

  • Would value personalised dietetic guidance rather than trying to piece together advice online.

This programme isn’t suitable if you:

  • Have an active eating disorder, diagnosed (for example anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder or OSFED), that significantly affects your day-to-day life.

  • Have Type 1 diabetes

  • Have advanced kidney disease (CKD stage 4 or 5) or are on dialysis

  • You are not currently living and not residing in the UK when we carry out our consultations.

These situations need specialist, closely monitored dietetic care that I can’t safely provide through this programme. If any of these apply, please speak to your GP or prescriber about being referred to an appropriate specialist dietitian. If you’re unsure whether the programme is right for you, get in touch before booking.

Frequently asked questions

Is it for me?

Do I need to be on a GLP-1 medication already?
No. The programme suits you whether you’re already taking Mounjaro, Wegovy or another GLP-1 medication, about to start, or recently stopped.

I’ve been dieting for years and know a lot already. What will this add?
That’s very common, and it’s where I start. Rather than repeating generic advice, we focus on what matters for your body and appetite now, and fill in the gaps. Many people find that eating much less makes it harder to get enough protein and nutrients, which standard diet advice often doesn’t cover.

Will you put me on a strict diet?
No. The plan is built around your appetite, preferences, cooking skills and daily routine. It’s a set of practical targets and ideas, not rigid rules.

Will I be judged about my weight or past eating?
No. This is a supportive, non-judgemental space. I’m here to help you eat well, not to make you feel bad about your history with food.

Can you help with nausea, constipation, reflux, hair loss and fatigue?
I can suggest eating strategies that often help with these, and check whether your food patterns might be contributing. I can't promise a symptom will go away, but I'll aim to improve what we can. Where appropriate, I'll encourage you to speak to your prescriber or GP.

Do you prescribe or change my medication?
No. I’m a Dietitian, not your prescriber. Questions about dose, switching medication or stopping it should go to the clinician who prescribes it. I work alongside their advice, not in place of it.

Can you work with my other health conditions or dietary needs?
In many cases, yes. Please share your medical history, medication, allergies and preferences (for example vegetarian, vegan, halal) in the questionnaire so I can tailor your plan. I don’t see clients with an active eating disorder, Type 1 diabetes, or advanced kidney disease (Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 4 or 5, or on dialysis), as these need specialist input.

What if I've had an eating disorder in the past?

I only exclude people with an active eating disorder. If you have a history of one, or you're not sure whether your eating counts, please email me before booking so we can decide together whether this programme is a good fit.

Is this only for women in midlife?
No. The programme is for anyone using GLP-1 medication. It may be particularly useful if you're navigating menopause alongside GLP-1 treatment. Nutritional priorities such as adequate intake, muscle preservation and bone health will be part of your individual assessment.

Is the programme available outside the UK?
No. I’m registered with the HCPC to practise in the UK, so the programme is only for clients who live in the UK and are in the UK for each consultation. If you’re travelling abroad, we’ll rearrange your appointment for when you’re back.

How it works

What happens after I book?
You'll receive a questionnaire covering your health, medication and goals, plus a food and activity diary to cover at least 3 days. Please return it at least 48 hours before your first call so I can prepare. If it arrives later than that, I may need to reschedule your call. You will also receive information on how to book your subsequent follow up check ins following the initial consultation.

What happens in the first call?
It's a 60-minute call (video or phone) where we go through your questionnaire, agree your nutritional priorities and plan your next steps. You'll receive a written plan afterwards, including a 5-day menu plan to get started if appropriate.

How do the follow-up check-ins work?
You get three 30-minute check-ins to use within eight weeks of your first call. Use them to review progress, troubleshoot, adjust your plan or ask whether you're on the right track. Each call is followed by an updated written plan. I suggest booking them in advance, so they're spaced out and the times you want are available. Rescheduled check-ins must still take place within the eight weeks.

Can I contact you between calls?
Yes. Email support is included, and I aim to reply within 2-3 working days. Email isn't for urgent concerns. If you have severe or persistent symptoms, such as ongoing vomiting or severe abdominal pain, please contact your GP, prescriber or NHS 111.

What is the GLP-1 Meal Planner app?
It’s a desktop and mobile app I designed, with customisable meal ideas. I’ll show you how to use it for future planning. You have access to this ongoingly even after the 8 week programme has ended.

Do you sell the supplements you recommend?
No. If a protein supplement, vitamin or mineral is suitable, I’ll explain why and what to look for, and you can buy it wherever you like.

What if I need more support after eight weeks?
You can book further follow up consultations following the 8 weeks, with the follow up consultation to be booked within 3 months of the last follow up in the 8 week programme. Any further support beyond 3 months may require another full assessment to account for clinical changes.

Practical questions

How much does it cost?
The programme costs £450. A one-off upfront cost.

Can I cancel or reschedule?
You can reschedule free of charge with more than 48 hours' notice. Within 48 hours, or if you miss an appointment, it counts as used, unless there are extenuating circumstances. You can switch between video and phone whenever you like. See the full cancellation policy below.

How long do refunds take?
I process refunds within 3 working days of your cancellation, back to your original payment method. After that, it can take 5-10 working days to show in your account, depending on your bank or card provider.

Are you qualified to provide medical nutrition advice?
Yes, I am a Senior Specialist Dietitian registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) (Registration Number: DT29965) and a member of the British Dietetic Association. I have practiced for nearly a decade, especially in the long term conditions, weight management and weight loss medications space both in the NHS and privately.

How is my health information kept private?
Please see my privacy policy.

Is the programme covered by private health insurance?
Some insurers cover dietetic consultations. Check with your provider whether they’ll reimburse. I can provide a relevant invoice if required.

Cancellation and rescheduling policy

You can cancel for a full refund at any time from booking up until 48hrs prior to your initial assessment call. To cancel, email me at hello@glp1nutritionclinic.co.uk.

If I find during the assessment that the programme isn't suitable or safe for you, I'll refund the fee for the check-ins you haven't used.

Your 14-day right to cancel
If you’re booking as a consumer, you also have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of booking, without giving a reason. To cancel, email me at hello@glp1nutritionclinic.co.uk.

Most clients want to start sooner than this, so when you book you’ll be asked to confirm that you want me to begin the service within the 14 days, and that you understand you’ll pay for the work I’ve done if you cancel.

If you cancel within the 14 days after your initial assessment call has taken place, you’ll pay for the work already done: £200 for the initial assessment (including preparation and follow-up administration), plus £83.33 for each check-in already used or missed. I’ll refund the rest within 14 days of you telling me you’re cancelling.

Once the 14 days have passed and your initial assessment has taken place or been missed, the programme fee is non-refundable, apart from the suitability refund above.

Rescheduling appointments
This applies to your initial assessment and your follow-up check-ins.

  • If you let me know more than 2 days before your appointment, you can reschedule free of charge.

  • If you cancel within 2 days of your appointment, I can’t normally reschedule it, and the appointment will be counted as used. The exception is extenuating circumstances, such as significant illness, bereavement. Please tell me as soon as you can and I’ll do my best to find another time.

Missed appointments

If you get back to us within 7 days, we'll offer you one replacement appointment free of charge. If we don't hear from you within 7 days, the missed appointment is counted as used, the programme will be closed and the fee is non-refundable.

If you miss a follow-up check-in without contacting us, it is counted as used and can't be rescheduled. Partial refunds can't be offered. I keep a limited number of appointment slots, and this policy lets me protect that availability for other clients.

Follow-up check-ins
Your three 30-minute check-ins must be used within eight weeks of your initial assessment. Any unused check-ins expire after that and aren’t refundable.

Changing format
You can switch between video and phone calls at any time. Just let us know in advance to the scheduled appointment.

If the Dietitian needs to cancel
