Are you tired of living by everyone else's rules?
You've played the roles. You've met the expectations. You've borrowed beliefs about who you should be, and somewhere along the way, your own voice got quiet.
Grace To Be is a 21-day guided framework to help you hear it again.
Over three weeks, you'll work through one short day at a time. You'll look honestly at who you've been told to be, uncover what you actually value, and build a way of living that you can trust.
What's inside:
Module 1: The Identity Audit (Days 1-7)
Take an honest inventory of the roles you play, the identity you borrowed, and the false beliefs you've been carrying. Then separate who you are from who you were told to be.
Module 2: Rebuilding Self-Trust (Days 8-14)
Understand self-trust, check in with where yours stands today, and learn to use your values as a compass for the decisions in front of you.
Module 3: The Grace Practice (Days 15-21)
Move from insight into daily life. Define what "being" looks like for you, set your own permission structure, and finish by creating your personal Grace To Be Profile.
You'll get two beautifully designed PDFs
The Course Deck: your 21-day teaching guide, one day at a time, with module overviews, wrap-ups, and next steps.
The Workbook: every exercise, worksheet, prompt, checklist, rating scale, and reflection page, ready to print or write on screen.
Plus, a bonus online version
Both PDFs come with links to an interactive online version. You can read it in your browser and move between days with a click.
Why you'll love it

Honest and gentle. Real self-reflection, with warmth, not pressure.
Self-paced. It's built for 21 days, but finishing matters more than the calendar. Go at your own speed.
Yours to keep. Print it, write in it, come back to it.
Practical. Every day ends with something you can do, not just something to read.

About your guide
For more than 30 years, I turned to personal growth books and teachings to learn, understand myself, and find a better way forward.
When I entered the empty-nest chapter of my life, I reached for them again. I revisited familiar books. Listened to webinars. Looked for guidance on who I was supposed to become next.
Then one day, a thought came through clearly:
“Melissa, stop. Give yourself the grace to just be.”
Not another version of myself to work toward. Not another thing to fix.
Room to understand who I already was—and what mattered to me now.
That realization became the beginning of Grace To Be.
Giving myself grace didn’t mean giving up on growth. It meant changing where that growth began. Instead of asking, “What’s wrong with me?” I began asking, “What feels true for me?”
I started with my personal values—what I genuinely cared about, not simply what I thought I should. From there, I began rebuilding self-trust, learning to listen to my own voice and let it count. And I practiced personal permission: allowing myself to make choices that reflected those values, even when they felt unfamiliar.
I’m Melissa Shipley, the writer and designer behind Grace To Be. Today, I help women navigating the empty nest rediscover what matters, trust themselves, and make room for their own lives.
Not because we need to become someone else.
Because there’s still so much life to live as ourselves.
