Grand Avenue Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions before using the Grand Avenue storefront or purchasing a Grand Avenue product. By accessing the storefront, placing an order, or selecting the Terms and Conditions box at checkout, you agree to these Terms.
These Terms are between you and Carina Rasmus, operating the Grand Avenue brand, referred to in these Terms as “Grand Avenue,” “we,” “us,” or “our.” The “Store” means the Grand Avenue storefront hosted on Stan Store, its checkout pages, and related product delivery pages. “Products” means the digital guides, ebooks, printable materials, and other resources offered by Grand Avenue, including The Gracious Table: Little Manners, Big Kindness.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to make a purchase. Grand Avenue Products are intended to be purchased and used by parents, guardians, caregivers, or other adults. They are not sold directly to children.
2. Orders, payment, and delivery
Prices are shown in United States dollars unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed through the payment provider available at checkout. Applicable sales tax may be calculated and added based on the purchaser’s location and the tax registrations maintained by Grand Avenue.
Digital Products are generally delivered immediately after successful payment through a download link, confirmation page, or email. You are responsible for providing an accurate email address and maintaining access to the device and software needed to open the Product.
If you do not receive your Product or the file is damaged or inaccessible, contact Grand Avenue at grandavenueandco@gmail.com.
3. Personal household license
Your purchase gives you a limited, personal, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the Product within one household. You may download and store the Product and print a reasonable number of copies for use by you and members of your immediate household.
You may not share the digital file outside your household, upload it to a shared drive, distribute copies to another family, reproduce it for a school, classroom, group, organization, or event, resell it, sublicense it, modify it for resale, or use it for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Grand Avenue.
Purchasing a Product does not transfer ownership of the Product or any intellectual property rights to you.
4. Intellectual property
The Store and Products, including their text, lessons, activities, illustrations, graphics, photographs, designs, branding, and arrangement, are owned by or licensed to Grand Avenue and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Grand Avenue, The Gracious Table: Little Manners, Big Kindness, and associated names, designs, and branding may not be used in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation without written permission.
To report a suspected infringement of Grand Avenue content, contact grandavenueandco@gmail.com and include your name, contact information, a description of the protected work, and the location of the suspected infringement.
5. Refund policy
Because digital Products are delivered immediately and cannot be returned, all sales are final. Please review the product description carefully before purchasing.
If you experience a delivery problem, receive a damaged file, or cannot access your purchase, contact Grand Avenue at grandavenueandco@gmail.com within seven days of purchase so we can provide a replacement file or help restore access.
By purchasing a digital Product, you request immediate delivery. Where applicable, you acknowledge that a statutory cancellation right may end once delivery of the digital content begins. Nothing in this policy limits any consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
6. Educational purpose and parental responsibility
Grand Avenue Products provide general educational and informational material for families. They are not medical, nutritional, feeding, behavioral, developmental, psychological, or therapeutic advice and are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
Parents and caregivers are responsible for deciding whether each lesson, activity, food, object, or game is appropriate for their children. An adult should provide suitable supervision and consider each child’s age, abilities, allergies, dietary needs, choking risks, health needs, and family circumstances. Stop an activity if it does not feel appropriate or safe for your family and consult a qualified professional when needed.
7. No promised results
Grand Avenue does not promise that use of a Product will produce a particular behavioral, educational, relational, or family outcome. Every family and child is different. Results depend on many factors outside Grand Avenue’s control, including participation, consistency, age, development, and individual circumstances.
8. Accuracy and availability
We make reasonable efforts to provide thoughtful and accurate information, but we do not promise that every Product or Store description will always be complete, current, or free from typographical or technical errors. We may correct errors, update Products, change prices, or discontinue an offering at any time.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Store or continuous availability of third party services. When reasonable, we will help customers resolve a verified delivery problem.
9. Third party services
The Store, checkout, payment processing, email delivery, and file delivery may be provided by third parties, including Stan Store, Stripe, or PayPal. Their own terms and privacy practices may also apply. Grand Avenue is not responsible for an interruption, error, security incident, or other issue caused solely by a third party service, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Privacy and communications
Grand Avenue may use the information provided with an order to process payment, deliver the Product, send receipts and service messages, provide customer support, prevent fraud, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations. Payment and storefront providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy practices.
Purchasing a Product does not by itself enroll you in promotional email marketing. If you separately choose to receive marketing emails, you may unsubscribe using the link in an email. Questions or requests concerning personal information may be sent to grandavenueandco@gmail.com.
11. Feedback
If you voluntarily send a review, suggestion, photograph, or other feedback, you retain ownership of your original material. You give Grand Avenue a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty free license to use and reproduce that feedback for business and promotional purposes, subject to applicable privacy law. Grand Avenue will request permission before publicly identifying a child or using a child’s recognizable image.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Store and Products are provided “as is” and “as available.” Grand Avenue disclaims warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grand Avenue will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the Store, a Product, or its use.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grand Avenue’s total liability for a claim relating to a purchased Product will not exceed the amount you paid for that Product. These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal proceeding relating to these Terms that is not eligible for small claims court must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Snohomish County, Washington, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
15. Severability and waiver
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure by Grand Avenue to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
16. Changes to these Terms
Grand Avenue may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top will show when they were last revised. The Terms in effect when you place an order will govern that purchase unless a change is required by law.
