Educators give so much of themselves, and the demands rarely let up. From Burnout to Balance is a professional development experience that makes space for educators to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with their own well-being. Facilitated live by Dr. Tasia Fields, this session uses coloring as a calming, creative tool for relaxation, mindfulness, and emotional regulation.
Grounded in research and designed around the real challenges educators face, the session blends three elements:
Mindfulness: Reflective practices that encourage awareness and compassion toward one’s own well-being.
Creative Expression: Hands-on coloring activities that offer a therapeutic outlet for stress.
Research-Informed Practice: Evidence-based approaches that support both individual wellness and a healthier school culture.
Wellness Check-in: A guided reflection that promotes mindfulness and helps educators tune in to how they are really doing.
Calming Practice: Coloring as a therapeutic grounding technique, giving participants a chance to unwind and be present.
Reflective Discussion: A facilitated conversation about stress and boundaries, focused on building sustainable wellness.
