HTMA Testing + Personalized Protocol

HTMA Testing + Personalized Protocol

$299

Minerals are the spark plugs of the body. They power nerve signaling, muscle contraction, digestion, blood sugar balance, hormone production — essentially every function your body depends on. And often the symptoms women come to me with — fatigue, anxiety, hair loss, sleep issues, sugar cravings — trace back to a mineral imbalance somewhere.

Blood testing is excellent in many ways, but it only captures what's circulating in the bloodstream at a single moment in time. They miss what's happening inside your tissues — where 30–40% of your magnesium lives, where minerals accumulate or get depleted over months, and where the real story of your health is written.

That's where Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) comes in.

Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) is a simple, non-invasive test that uses a small sample of your hair to reveal what has been quietly accumulating inside your body over time — not just minerals, but also toxic metals, imbalances, and patterns your blood work wont show. A small sample of hair gives us a months-long window into what your tissues have actually been doing. It can reveal patterns like adrenal stress, thyroid disruption, toxic metal burden, and mineral deficiencies that bloodwork simply doesn't show.

Instead of guessing or chasing symptoms, we get a clear roadmap — and build a protocol around what your body actually needs.

What one test can show you:

  • Metabolic rate

  • Energy production at the cellular level

  • State of stress + stress tolerance

  • Whether you're eating enough protein

  • Immune system function

  • Carbohydrate tolerance

  • Adrenal + thyroid glandular activity

  • Tendencies toward 30+ illnesses — often before they manifest

  • Heavy metal burden — arsenic, lead, mercury + more

  • Mineral deficiencies affecting mood, energy + hormones

What's included:

  • HTMA test kit: Mailed directly to you with simple, step-by-step instructions for collecting your hair sample at home and sending it to the lab.

  • Personalized protocol: Once your results are in (typically about 2 weeks), I review them alongside your health history and symptoms and build a protocol specific to you — not a generic handout.

  • 1-hour Review of Findings: We walk through your results together — in plain language. You'll understand what they mean, why they matter, and exactly what we're doing about them.

  • 30-minute follow-up: Four weeks after you receive your protocol, we check in to see how you're feeling, answer questions, and adjust anything that needs tweaking.

This is for you if:

You've been told your labs are "normal" but something still feels off — fatigue, brain fog, poor sleep, mood swings, slow metabolism, or just a nagging sense that you're not functioning at your best. Or you want to understand what's really happening in your body before symptoms get louder.

FAQs

How do I collect the sample? It's much simpler than it sounds. Your kit comes with everything you need and clear step-by-step instructions. You'll collect a small amount of hair (typically from the nape of the neck — not visible when your hair is down), place it in the provided envelope, and mail it directly to the lab using the pre-addressed envelope included in your kit.

How long does it take to get results? Lab turnaround is typically about 2 weeks from the time your sample is received. Once I have your results, I'll get to work on your personalized protocol and reach out to schedule your Review of Findings.

Can my kids do this test? Yes — and honestly, this is one of the reasons I'm so passionate about HTMA. It's completely non-invasive, no needles, no blood draw. Children can be tested just as easily as adults!

Is this a diagnostic test? No — HTMA is a functional assessment tool, not a diagnostic test. It doesn't diagnose illness or replace your doctor. What it does is give us a detailed picture of your body's mineral status and stress patterns so we can build a targeted, root-cause protocol. I use it as one piece of your overall health picture, alongside your symptoms and health history.

Do I need to do anything to prepare? Wash your hair 4-6 hours before collecting the sample. Avoid using heavy conditioners or styling products on the day of collection. Beyond that, no special prep is needed — I'll walk you through everything when your kit arrives.

What if I have more questions before purchasing? Please reach out! DM me on Instagram or send me an email — I'm happy to answer any questions and help you figure out if this is the right fit for where you are right now.

"HTMA shows how the body's energy system is out of balance and how to use nutrition and diet to correct it. Once the body's energy and stamina are restored, it can heal other problems on its own." — Edward Gogek, MD
