Loose leash walking and recall are sister skills. Both ask your dog to recognize and respect a boundary you’ve set, whether you communicate it through the leash or your voice.
This class builds both through play, clear communication, and super simple foundations. We’ll start where your dog can succeed, then build toward more freedom and bigger distractions with creative games that make these skills fun to learn and easy to practice.
You’ll learn how to:
Teach your dog to respond to collar pressure by creating slack.
Build the habit of your dog keeping track of YOU - not the other way around.
Develop an eager, reliable response to your recall cue.
Use play to practice boundaries, movement, and coming back.
Add challenges gradually so those foundations hold up in everyday life.
Open to dogs of any age.
Bring your dog, an open mind, and a willingness to look at leash skills and recall a little differently than usual.
Registration is limited for a personalized, intimate class experience.
