Session 1: Day 1 & set-up for success
Your first day with your puppy
The first commands to teach right away: “Yes!” marker word, name recognition, “Look at me!”
Easy behaviour hacks to prevent jumping, barking and biting
Equipment and home set-up
Introducing the collar, harness and leash slowly, without forcing anything on your puppy
An easy daily routine
Session 2: Teach the behaviour you want
Playful ways to stop biting and jumping
Come, sit, down, stay, leave it, off and settle
How to practise so the habits stick
Potty training tips
Session 3: Life skills & getting used to the world
Life skills: calmness, handling, alone time, leash skills and impulse control
Desensitization and socialization, getting used to lots of things gradually and safely:
People, dogs, sounds, places and surfaces
Grooming and vet visits
The car, car rides and staying in the car
Walking outside with a sling carrier
Wrap-up: what not to do and what to do
