When I lived in Jordan, whenever there was a special occasion or celebration, these delicious pastries were always in abundance and were my absolute favourite. Layers of buttery, crisp filo folded into triangles, filled with rich ashta cream, baked until golden, and finished with a light drizzle of scented sugar syrup and crushed pistachios.
