Stop guessing at the counter. Price every handyman job from your own numbers.
A flat-rate price book for handyman and home repair businesses, owner-operators and small crews. Put in what a tech hour costs you, your overhead, your billable hours and the margin you want. The spreadsheet works out your hourly rate, then prices 118 common jobs with Good, Better and Best options, so the customer picks the option and you stop haggling over hours.
What's included
Price Book: 118 handyman jobs in 12 categories (doors and locks, drywall and paint, carpentry and trim, mounting and assembly, light plumbing and electrical swaps, exterior and gutters, and more), plus 20 blank rows for your own
Good / Better / Best prices on 65 jobs, and a single price on the rest, plus an after-hours price and a margin check on every row
Your Numbers: labor cost, overhead, billable hours and target margin work out your hourly rate. Parts markup tiers, trip charge, minimum ticket, after-hours multiplier and rounding are all yours to set
Tier Guide: what Good, Better and Best mean in each category, in words you can change
Quote a Job: type the job number, pick the tier and quantity; it adds the trip charge and minimum ticket once per visit
Customer Price Sheet: your business name and prices fill in, ready to print or save as a PDF
Start Here tab: six setup steps, start to finish
Printable PDF of every tab
Works in Excel 2010+ and Google Sheets. No macros, no add-ons, no subscription
Formulas locked so they can't be typed over (no password); light copper cells are yours to fill in

Every hour, parts cost, rate and price in the file is a made-up EXAMPLE starting point, not a market quote and not a price for your area. Replace them with your own costs, supplier prices and times before you quote anyone. Light plumbing and electrical rows are like-for-like swaps. Many states and cities require a licensed plumber or electrician for this work, or limit what a handyman can do. Check your local rules and delete rows you are not allowed to do. This is an organizing tool, not legal, tax, accounting or insurance advice.
Digital download: all sales final. If a file won't open, message me and I'll send a working copy.
