“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”
― Hippocrates
This is an at-home Carroll Food Intolerance Assessment.
This method was invented by Dr. O.G. Carroll, ND as a means to determine what foods are not well digested or metabolized by the body based on genetic predisposition and enzymatic capacity. (think lactose intolerance) These results do not change over time and will only need to be evaluated once.
This method is not a standard diagnostic test nor is it an allergy test. An allergy test evaluates immediate or delayed antibody mediated immune system reactions to particular foods (IgE, IgG, IgA). This can be variable overtime and depends on the state of the gut integrity and the immune system at the time of testing. Meaning your results can change and require reevaluation.
The Carroll food intolerance method does not determine an immune system reaction/allergy, but rather utilizes a person’s blood to determine enzyme compatibility with particular food groups and combinations of foods. This reveals a primary inability of the digestive system to properly digest and metabolize particular foods.
The result of eating foods you cannot properly digest:
dysbiosis
leaky gut
maldigestion
increased toxic body burden
systemic inflammation
In addition to evaluation of foods, the assessment will evaluate for mineral salt deficiencies which will be included in your report.
This is for you if you’re looking to:
