THE ANALOG PRESET PACK
27 Lightroom presets created to edit, enhance and experiment with your film photography.
This preset pack includes 26 color presets + 1 black & white preset, created specifically FOR ANALOG PHOTOS.
These are the bases I use to edit my own film photography, built from techniques and adjustments I’ve developed over the years while working with different film stocks, lighting conditions and scanning results.
My goal with this pack isn’t to give you a one-click solution, but rather a collection of starting points you can use to explore different directions with your own images.

A LITTLE DISCLAIMER
You may notice that some presets are quite similar, sometimes with only one or two adjustments changing between them. This is intentional.
In particular, the following presets are variations of the same base:
Paradise I & II are very similar.
Hope I & II are very similar.
Cotswolds II, III & IV are very similar.
Wedding I & II are very similar.
I chose to include these variations because I wanted to show how changing just one or two things can give the same base a slightly different feel. Sometimes, a very small adjustment is all an image needs.
Presets are always a starting point, not a finished edit.
The final result will vary depending on the film stock you used, the scan, lighting conditions, exposure, skin tones, colors in the image and surrounding environment. A preset that works beautifully on one photograph might need quite a bit of adjustment on another, and sometimes it simply won’t work at all.
I also regularly use masks and local adjustments in my own editing : for example, to make a background cooler or bluer, adjust the subject separately, or bring more or less of a certain color into specific areas of the image.
So play around with them! Adjust the exposure, white balance, curves, colors and masks. Think of these presets as bases to build from rather than filters you have to use exactly as they are.
HOW TO IMPORT THE PRESETS
In Lightroom, go to Presets → … (three dots) → Import Presets, select the provided .xmp files, and import them.
Once imported, quit and reopen Lightroom if the presets don't immediately appear.
