Give your teen real business experience and financial education they’ll use for life. Vending is one of the most hands-on ways to learn how money really works: buying equipment, pricing products, negotiating with location owners, tracking profit, and deciding what to do with what you earn.
Vending Monies Teens is an 8 week live virtual cohort for teens ages 14 to 19 and their parents. Families learn together, step by step, with live sessions, recordings to review anytime, and weekly hands-on assignments that turn lessons into real skills.
Here’s what we’ll cover:
How money moves: cash flow, revenue, costs, and profit in plain language
Business math: startup costs, pricing, and margins
Choosing equipment and understanding financing basics
How to find and evaluate great vending locations
Pitching location owners and understanding commission agreements
Running the business: inventory, restocking, and tracking sales
Managing money: separating business and personal funds, record keeping, and saving
Reinvesting, growing, and the basics of investing
Parent sessions to keep the whole family on the same page
Demo Day: teens present their business plan to their families and the cohort
