Is your toddler going every 4 days and crying when it finally arrives?
Tiptoes behind the curtain. Legs crossed tight. A poop so big it blocks the toilet and a child who screams every time it comes. If that is your house right now then you have probably been told to add more fruit and more water and wait it out.
I want your toddler pooping EVERY DAY with no pain and no fear. Constipation in this age group is extremely common. More than a third of 4 year olds in one large study had it. Common is still not normal and it does not have to be your child.
Most families start with fibre which is the one with the weakest evidence behind it. This book turns the order around. Fat first then ferments then water and fibre LAST. When the order changes most toddlers start moving within the first 2 weeks.
If your toddler has started withholding then food alone will not fix it because the fear stays after the pain has gone. Half of this book is about that fear and how to make the toilet calm and safe and even fun again.

What is inside:
A two week reset written day by day so you know exactly what to do from Monday morning
How to spot withholding and what to say and do the moment you see it
The dairy question with the trials behind it and a 4 week home trial you can run properly
Picky eating explained as a gut problem rather than a behaviour problem
Making your own yogurts and kefirs with the strains named, including fizzy kefir your toddler will actually ask for
Belly massage, toilet set up, balloon tummy breathing, toilet games, affirmations and a story to read together
Protocols for 18 months to 2 years, 2 to 3 years and 3 to 5 years, plus nursery, antibiotics, travel, illness and potty training setbacks
35 recipes that feed the whole family
3 seven day meal plans, one of them fully dairy free
A 50 day tracker, a shopping list and a plain words glossary
A research chapter with every study named so you can see where my confidence comes from

Who it is for: parents of children aged 18 months to 5 years who poop less than daily, strain or cry, withhold, soil their pants, or have been on laxatives without anything underneath changing.
Who it is not for: a child with a red flag such as blood mixed through the stool, green vomit, weight loss or a swollen hard belly. Those go to a doctor first and the book tells you exactly which signs to watch for.

Format: 192 page PDF. Instant download. Readable on your phone.
Disclaimer: This book is nutrition and lifestyle education and does not replace medical care. Please keep any prescribed medicine going exactly as your doctor prescribed.

Is this the same as the baby book? The fat first order is the same because it does not change as your child grows. Almost everything else is new: withholding, potty training, nursery, picky eating, family recipes and toddler research.
My child is on a laxative. Can I still use it? Yes. Keep the medicine going exactly as prescribed and use the food and routine work alongside it.
Do I need special equipment? A stock pot, a few glass jars and a step for the toilet. The shopping list is in the book.
Is it dairy free? One of the three meal plans is fully dairy free, and every chapter tells you what to swap.
