You already know what the problem is. You've known for months.
Maybe it's the mornings. Maybe it's homework, bedtime, or the call from school that makes your stomach drop.
You've saved the posts. You've made the charts. You told yourself Monday would be different, and then Monday came.
You are tired of trying things alone and guessing whether any of it is working.
So let's pick one problem and work on it together for five days.
What the Tiny Challenge is
Five Zoom calls with me, one a day. 30 minutes each. Just you and me.
You bring one problem with your child that keeps showing up in your house. We find out what is really going on underneath it. Every day you leave with one small thing to try before we talk again. The next day you tell me what happened and we adjust.
One problem. Five days.
Who it's for
Parents and caregivers raising a child with ADHD. If you have ADHD yourself, I built this with you in mind. If you don't have kids at home, this one isn't for you, and there are good ADHD coaches out there for careers and adult life.
Problems people bring me:
Mornings that turn into yelling before 7 AM
A child who holds it together at school and falls apart the minute they get in the car
Homework that takes three hours and ends in tears
Bedtime that drags past 10 PM
A child who says no to everything
A teacher who keeps calling your child defiant
Routines you start on Monday and drop by Wednesday
Losing your temper, then lying awake feeling awful about it
Tell me what keeps happening. We'll name it together.
Why only one problem
When everything feels like it's on fire, the temptation is to fix mornings, bedtime, school and yourself in the same week. You already know how that ends. By Thursday the whole plan is in the junk drawer.
One small change that sticks tells us more about your family than ten that fall apart. And you get a win you can feel this week. My ADHD brain needs those too.
What I ask of you
This works because we both show up. When you book, you agree to four things:
You come to all five calls.
You do the small homework between calls.
If something comes up, you message me before the call.
A no-call, no-show gives up your spot.
I hold myself to the same standard.
Who you're working with
Hi, I'm Zaire. I'm a certified coach and I'm in my 15th year as a special education teacher. I have my M.S.Ed., I advocate for families in IEP meetings, and I'm a mom with ADHD raising a son with ADHD.
I also once sat in my car in my own driveway, in the rain, crying because I could not make myself walk back into my house. Nobody noticed. I knew the strategies and I was still drowning, because I was doing it by myself.
That is why this is 1:1. For five days you have somebody in your corner who has sat on both sides of the table.
What happens on Day 5
On our last call we look at what changed and what still needs work. I'll tell you straight what I think your next step is.
By Day 5, you'll see what's working for your family. If Calm & Covered: The Family Shift is the right next step, I'll show you how we can keep that momentum going together.
Quick answers
Does my child need a diagnosis? No. If ADHD is suspected or you're waiting on an evaluation, you can book.
Is this therapy? No. This is coaching. I don't diagnose or treat anything, and this doesn't replace your doctor, your therapist or your child's school services. If you or your child are in crisis, contact your local emergency services. In the US you can call or text 988.
What if I can't make all five days? Wait and book a week when you can. Each call builds on the one before it.
What do I need? A phone or laptop with Zoom, 30 minutes a day, and one problem.
What does it cost? Nothing. It's free. Five days of real work together is the best way for both of us to find out if we're a fit.
What your week looks like
All times are Eastern. The time you book for Day 1 puts you on a track. You follow that track for five calls, starting from whatever day you book.
4:00 PM track. Monday through Friday at 4:00 PM.
4:30 PM track. Monday through Friday at 4:30 PM.
5:00 PM track. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 5:00 PM. Friday at 8:00 PM. Saturday at 12:00 PM.
9:00 PM track. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 9:00 PM. Friday at 8:30 PM. Saturday at 12:30 PM.
If you start midweek, your calls roll into the next week until you’ve had all five.
Heads up: on the third Wednesday of each month, the 4:00, 4:30 and 5:00 calls may start five minutes late. I’m a teacher, and that’s staff meeting day.
