Workbook 52- Al Wakil-The Keeper of the Garden

Allah is Al-Wakīl - the One upon whom affairs are entrusted and the One sufficient as Disposer of affairs. This workbook does not suggest that human beings share Allah’s absolute authority or control. Instead, it uses the limited human metaphor of trusteeship to ask how we care for what Allah has temporarily placed within our responsibility.

CENTRAL PRACTICE

I faithfully manage what has been entrusted to me, seek help when I need it, share what should circulate, prepare others to carry what comes next, and entrust outcomes beyond my control to Allah.
