A therapeutic exploration of commitment, continuity, repair, and enduring connection
Human steadfastness is not the refusal to change. It is the capacity to remain anchored to what is worthy while adapting faithfully to what time requires.
Al-Matīn is named in Qur’an 51:58 in a description of Allah as the Provider and the firm possessor of strength. Divine firmness is complete and independent. Human steadfastness is different: we tire, change, need repair, require support, and sometimes must reconsider what we are holding. This workbook uses steadfastness as a therapeutic lens, not as a claim that human beings share Allah’s attribute in an absolute sense.
