ALLAH IS AL-QĀDIR. I WAS NEVER ASKED TO BE.
This workbook explores human capacity and limitation through the theological lens of Al-Qādir: Allah is perfectly able, while human beings are created with changing, contextual and finite capacities. The goal is not to romanticize limitation or discourage treatment, rehabilitation, learning, advocacy or effort. It is to develop a more truthful relationship with what is possible, what requires support, what may change, and what must sometimes be grieved or accepted.
Use the pages slowly. Write rather than perform. Skip any prompt that feels unsafe or clinically inappropriate. Disability, illness, grief, trauma, aging and cognitive change can require individualized medical, psychological, legal, spiritual or accessibility support. This workbook is educational and reflective; it is not a substitute for professional assessment or qualified Islamic scholarship.
