PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE OR PURCHASING A PRODUCT.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the online store located at stan.store/nickandthortravel, including related checkout and digital-delivery pages (collectively, the “Site”), and products or services sold directly through the Site by Stapes Shop LLC, operating the Nick & Thor Travel brand (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing the Site, purchasing a product, downloading a digital product, or checking the box indicating that you agree to these Terms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not complete a purchase or use any purchased digital product.
1. ELIGIBILITY AND ELECTRONIC AGREEMENT
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you have not reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may make a purchase only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You agree that your electronic acceptance of these Terms, including acceptance through an online checkout checkbox or similar electronic process, may constitute your agreement to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
2. PRODUCTS COVERED BY THESE TERMS
These Terms apply to products and services sold or provided directly by Stapes Shop LLC through the Site, including digital downloads such as The Dog Travel Planner and related bonus materials.
The Site may also contain links to products, services, websites, applications, or merchants operated by third parties. Purchases made directly from a third party are transactions between you and that third party and are also subject to that third party’s terms, policies, and privacy practices.
3. DIGITAL PRODUCT DELIVERY
Unless otherwise expressly stated on the applicable product page, digital products are delivered electronically and no physical product will be shipped.
You are responsible for providing an accurate email address and for downloading and safely storing your purchased files after delivery.
Digital products may be delivered in PDF or another electronic format. Interactive features, including hyperlinks, bookmarks, fillable fields, or navigation features, may function differently depending on the device, operating system, browser, email application, or PDF viewer being used.
A compatible PDF viewer may be required for certain interactive features. If you experience a legitimate technical problem accessing a digital product you purchased directly from us, contact us at:

We will make reasonable efforts to help you access the product or provide a replacement copy when appropriate.
4. PERSONAL-USE LICENSE
When you purchase a digital product from us, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use that product for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may download the purchased file to devices that you own or control and may print reasonable copies for your own personal use.
You may not:
sell, resell, sublicense, rent, or commercially distribute the digital product;
share, forward, give away, upload, publish, or redistribute the digital file to another person or group;
place the digital product in a shared drive, membership library, file-sharing service, course, database, or other location where others may access or copy it;
reproduce the product for commercial purposes;
remove or intentionally obscure copyright, trademark, brand, or other proprietary notices;
represent the product or any protected portion of it as your own; or
use the product in a manner that infringes the intellectual-property or other legal rights of Stapes Shop LLC or any third party.
Purchasing one copy does not grant permission to distribute additional copies to friends, customers, followers, organizations, or other third parties.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Stapes Shop LLC retains all rights that it owns or lawfully controls in the original and protectable elements of its products and Site, including, as applicable, original written content, branding, compilation, selection, arrangement, layout, product structure, graphics, designs, and other proprietary material.
Nick & Thor Travel™ and associated branding are used by Stapes Shop LLC.
Third-party names, trademarks, logos, websites, applications, products, photographs, information, or other materials referenced in our products remain the property of their respective owners where applicable.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to claim ownership of third-party intellectual property or of any element that is not legally owned or controlled by Stapes Shop LLC.
Except for the limited personal-use license expressly granted above, no intellectual-property rights are transferred to you by your purchase.
6. EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY
The Dog Travel Planner and other Nick & Thor Travel materials are provided for educational and informational purposes.
They are not veterinary, medical, legal, regulatory, insurance, airline, lodging, emergency-response, or other professional advice.
Information about airlines, hotels, vacation rentals, transportation providers, parks, businesses, veterinary resources, laws, policies, fees, restrictions, travel requirements, operating hours, websites, and other third-party matters may change at any time.
You are responsible for verifying important information with the applicable veterinarian, airline, lodging provider, government agency, business, transportation provider, official website, or other appropriate source before relying on that information or making travel decisions.
Every dog and travel situation is different. You are responsible for evaluating your own dog’s health, temperament, mobility, breathing, heat tolerance, behavior, carrier fit, transportation needs, and other individual circumstances with an appropriate professional when necessary.
If you believe your dog is experiencing a medical emergency, do not delay appropriate professional care in order to consult the planner or any other Company material.
7. THIRD-PARTY RESOURCES, LINKS, AND SERVICES
Our products and Site may identify, link to, or discuss third-party resources, businesses, websites, apps, directories, retailers, transportation providers, veterinary resources, lodging platforms, or other services.
We may make reasonable efforts to select useful resources, but we do not control third parties and cannot guarantee their continued availability, accuracy, safety, quality, pricing, policies, performance, geographic coverage, or suitability for your circumstances.
A reference to a third-party resource does not create a partnership, agency relationship, sponsorship, or guarantee unless expressly stated.
Your use of a third-party website, product, or service is subject to that third party’s own terms and policies.
Some links appearing through Nick & Thor Travel may be affiliate links or may otherwise result in compensation to the Company if you make a qualifying purchase. Where required, material affiliate relationships will be disclosed in accordance with applicable requirements. Any such commission does not change the price you pay unless expressly stated.
8. FILLABLE PDF INFORMATION
Certain digital products, including the Dog Travel Quick-Access bonus, may contain fillable PDF fields for information such as your dog’s name, veterinarian contact information, medications, microchip information, or other personal information.
Merely entering information into a locally downloaded PDF does not intentionally transmit that information to Stapes Shop LLC.
However, the PDF application, cloud-storage service, operating system, email provider, or other third-party software you use may store, synchronize, process, or transmit files according to that third party’s own privacy practices. You are responsible for determining whether the software or service you use is appropriate for information you choose to enter.
9. PRICING, PAYMENT, AND TAXES
Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and may change prospectively at any time.
Payment is processed through third-party payment and commerce providers, which may include Stan, Stripe, PayPal, or other providers made available through the Site. Your payment information may therefore also be subject to the applicable provider’s terms and privacy practices.
Applicable taxes may be charged where required.
A later price reduction, promotion, discount, or change in product pricing does not create a right to a retroactive price adjustment unless required by applicable law or expressly stated by us.
10. REFUNDS AND PRODUCT-SPECIFIC GUARANTEES
Refunds and guarantees are governed by the terms displayed on the applicable product page at the time of purchase.
The Dog Travel Planner — 7-Day Feel Prepared Guarantee
The Dog Travel Planner currently includes a voluntary 7-Day Feel Prepared Guarantee.
If, within 7 calendar days of your purchase, you genuinely do not feel that the planner provided useful information, saved you research time, or helped you feel more prepared to travel with your dog, you may request a refund by contacting:

Please contact us from the email address associated with your purchase or provide sufficient information for us to identify the transaction.
An approved refund will be returned to the original payment method through the applicable payment processor. Financial institutions and payment processors may require additional time for the refund to appear on your account.
This voluntary guarantee does not limit any additional rights or remedies that you may have under applicable law.
Other products offered through the Site may have different refund or guarantee terms. The specific policy displayed for that product at checkout will govern that purchase.
Stan currently provides creators with the ability to issue customer refunds and states that individual creators manage their own product refund policies.
11. FOUNDING BUYER AND VERSION 1 UPDATES
Where The Dog Travel Planner is advertised with Founding Buyer Access, qualifying purchasers will receive corrections, improvements, and updates that Stapes Shop LLC makes generally available as updates to Version 1 of The Dog Travel Planner at no additional charge.
This promise applies only to updates that we designate as part of Version 1.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Founding Buyer Access does not automatically include:
a future Version 2 or other separately released major edition; new standalone products; unrelated planners or guides; international-travel add-ons; courses; memberships; consulting or personalized services; physical products; or other separately priced offerings.
We do not promise that Version 1 will receive updates indefinitely or on any particular schedule. The promise is that if qualifying Version 1 corrections, improvements, or updates are released and made available under the Founding Buyer offer, eligible purchasers will not be charged an additional fee for those Version 1 updates.
12. ACCURACY AND AVAILABILITY
We make reasonable efforts to provide useful, accurate, and current information.
However, because travel rules, business policies, prices, operating conditions, websites, regulations, veterinary guidance, and third-party services can change, we do not guarantee that every piece of information will remain current, complete, or applicable to every circumstance.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, products and Site content are provided on an “as available” basis.
Nothing in this section limits any warranty, consumer right, or remedy that cannot legally be waived or excluded.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Stapes Shop LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential losses arising from or related to your use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Site, a digital product, or a third-party resource referenced in our materials.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company’s aggregate monetary liability arising from a particular purchased product will not exceed the amount you actually paid to the Company for the product giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, limits, or waives any liability, statutory right, consumer remedy, or other legal protection that applicable law does not permit the parties to exclude, limit, or waive.
14. MISUSE AND TERMINATION OF LICENSE
Your personal-use license is conditioned on compliance with these Terms.
Material violation of the license restrictions, including unauthorized resale, distribution, or commercial reproduction of a digital product, may result in termination of your license and may subject you to remedies available under applicable law.
Termination of a license does not affect rights or obligations that by their nature are intended to survive termination.
15. PRIVACY AND COMMUNICATIONS
Information collected through the Site is subject to the applicable Privacy Policy made available through the Site and, where relevant, the privacy practices of Stan, payment processors, email providers, or other third-party service providers.
By making a purchase, you agree that we may send transactional communications reasonably necessary to fulfill or administer that purchase, including order confirmations, receipts, download or access information, customer-service communications, and eligible product-update information.
Agreement to these Terms does not by itself constitute consent to receive unrelated promotional marketing where separate consent is required by applicable law.
Where marketing consent is requested separately, your marketing preferences will be handled according to the applicable consent mechanism and law.
16. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms and transactions directly between you and Stapes Shop LLC will be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without giving effect to conflict-of-laws principles that would require application of another jurisdiction’s laws.
Any dispute that is properly brought in court shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction as permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in this section is intended to deprive a consumer of a mandatory venue, consumer-protection law, or other right that cannot legally be waived.
Before filing a legal claim, you are encouraged, but not required where applicable law provides otherwise, to contact us at nickandthortravel@gmail.com so that we have an opportunity to attempt to resolve the issue.
17. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may revise these Terms from time to time.
Revised Terms may apply prospectively to future use of the Site and future purchases after the revised Terms become effective.
Unless required by law or separately agreed by the parties, changes to these Terms will not retroactively reduce rights or materially alter obligations applicable to a purchase already completed under an earlier version of the Terms.
The effective date displayed at the top identifies the version currently in effect.
18. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
19. NO WAIVER
A failure by Stapes Shop LLC to enforce a provision of these Terms on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce that provision or another provision on a later occasion.
20. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with the applicable product listing, checkout disclosures, stated refund or guarantee policy, and Privacy Policy, constitute the agreement between you and Stapes Shop LLC concerning the applicable transaction, except where the parties expressly agree otherwise in writing.
If a product page contains a specific term concerning that product that conflicts with a general provision of these Terms, the more specific product term will control for that purchase to the extent permitted by law.
