Grief & Aftercare Support

Grief & Aftercare Support

Support doesn't end when the dying does. This is where healing begins.

The days, weeks, and months after a loss can feel disorienting — grief is not a single moment but an ongoing process, and this offering walks alongside you through it, drawing on both hospice experience and grief-informed care.

What's included:

  • Grief companionship — A steady, compassionate presence to process loss without judgment or a timeline — someone who understands that grief doesn't follow a schedule.

  • Post-death practical support — Gentle guidance through the immediate aftermath: notifying others, understanding next steps, and navigating the logistics that feel overwhelming in the first days.

  • Legacy & memory work — Support creating memory boxes, writing letters, organizing photos, or other meaningful ways to honor and hold onto a loved one.

  • Family check-ins — Scheduled follow-up sessions in the weeks and months after loss, since grief often intensifies once the initial flurry of support from others fades.

  • Ritual & closure support — Help planning a personal ritual, anniversary remembrance, or simple practice for marking grief milestones (birthdays, holidays, the one-year mark).

  • Referrals & resources — Connection to grief counselors, support groups, or other professional resources when deeper or ongoing therapeutic support is needed.

Grief is love with nowhere to go. My role is to help you hold it — not rush it, not fix it, just walk beside you as it moves through you.
