Compassionate presence during the final chapter, so no one has to walk it alone.
As death approaches, this offering provides steady, hands-on support for both the dying person and the family holding vigil around them. This is not medical care, it's presence, comfort, and companionship, drawing on hospice-trained knowledge of what the dying process looks and feels like.
What's included:
Bedside sitting & vigil presence — Sitting quietly at the bedside during the active dying process, offering a calm, steady presence so your loved one is never alone, even in the quiet hours.
Respite for family caregivers — Stepping in so exhausted family members can rest, shower, eat a real meal, step outside, or simply close their eyes for an hour without worry.
Caregiver support & breaks — Emotional support for the family throughout, answering questions about what's happening, what to expect next, and how to be present with their loved one in these final days.
Daily comfort cares — Gentle support with positioning, mouth care, skin comfort, and other non-medical comfort measures that ease physical distress in the final days.
Environment & atmosphere — Softening the space with music, scent, light, or quiet with creating a peaceful atmosphere for both the dying person and the family gathered around them.
On-call availability — Because the timeline of dying is unpredictable, this support is available on-call, day or night, for as long as vigil is needed.
This is sacred, tender work. My role is to hold space so your family can be fully present-not exhausted, not alone, not unsure of what to do next.
