Building and maintaining a cohesive team at the corporate level can be a bit like "herding cats". It's a delicate balance of managing personalities, skill sets, and levels of trust.
Partner Dance for Corporate Team Building is a non-gender biased workshop that actively improves communication and empathy through a series of movement exercises. During the 2 1/2 hour workshop, we explore the following:
Leading and Following
Levels of Interaction
Communicating Conflict and Resolution
Adapting to Change
Improvising
Celebrating Success
On top of that, it's genuinely fun exercise! We do as much laughing as we do learning. At the end of the workshop, your team should feel energized, proud of their work as an ensemble, and ready to take on new challenges as a cohesive unit.
Workshop Director Paula Gammon Wilson has been teaching dance in corporate and academic settings since 2005 and loves helping non-dancers explore ways that movement can have a positive impact on their lives.
