I wanted to take a moment to share a bit more about the Hanen: It Takes Two to Talk® program — especially for those of you who’ve been quietly curious, reading along, and wondering if it might be a fit for your family.

This program is about understanding how communication actually grows — through everyday interactions, shared moments, and responsive back-and-forth that feels natural (not forced).

Inside the program, we focus on things like:

🔑how to follow your child’s lead without “giving in”

🔑how to create more back-and-forth without asking more questions

🔑why pressure often shuts communication down

🔑how small changes in how we respond can make a big difference over time

Over  3 months (virtually) we’ll meet 1:1 or in a small, supportive group of parents who truly get it. In addition to the weekly live sessions, the program also includes bonus individualized coaching — private sessions where we look closely at your child, your goals, and what’s working (and what might need adjusting). You’ll also receive access to the program materials and portal right away so you can settle in and feel prepared before we begin.

What I love most about Hanen is that it supports both the child and the parent. Parents leave with clarity, confidence, and tools they can use in real life — not just during playtime, but during meals, routines, and the busy moments that actually make up your day.
