Ten years ago, I created Conversation Circle as a place for Black women and those who love them to gather, reflect, and have conversations about the things that shape our lives. Now I'm bringing it back, because I still believe in the power of women coming together to hear themselves and one another.
We're kicking things off with a question: Who Am I Becoming?
Life has a way of changing us. Sometimes we welcome those changes, and sometimes we're still figuring out who we are on the other side of them. This conversation is an invitation to reflect on the woman you are today, the woman you're becoming, and what it might mean to make room for her.
We'll begin with a reflection prompt, spend a little time journaling, and then open the circle for honest conversation, listening, and connection.
No lectures. No perfect answers. No pressure to share more than you're comfortable with.
Conversation Circle centers Black women and welcomes women who value personal growth, are willing to do the work of getting free for themselves, and are committed to honoring Black women's experiences and voices.
Come curious. Bring your journal. Let's have a conversation.
