The Cleaning Routine

The Cleaning Routine

$24.99

Most cleaning advice tells you to clean. It doesn't tell you what, how often, or in what order. So you end up doing the same visible things over and over while the things that actually matter get missed for months.

This is the system I use in my own house, written down.

Every day is twenty minutes. Every week is two to three hours, or one room a day. Every month is the deeper work the weekly list doesn't reach. Every season is the rotation that gets the whole house across the year. All of it is grouped by room, so you can see exactly what you're doing and where.

Then the reference pages, which are the part I would have wanted most:

Ten Things Worth Knowing. Why disinfectant does almost nothing if you wipe it straight off. Why one bucket of mop water only cleans the first room. What your floors genuinely cannot take.

How Often, Actually. Every frequency in one table. Sheets, pillows, mattress protectors, towels, bath mats, vacuum filters, dishwasher filters, range hood filters, makeup brushes, pet bowls. Most go longer than people think. A few go much shorter.

Floors and Surfaces. What luxury vinyl, hardwood, tile and carpet can and cannot take, plus a surface-by-surface table of what to use and what to avoid. The avoid column is the one worth reading.

What You Need. The actual tools and products I use, not a generic list.

It's undated on purpose, so it's still right in five years. I print mine single-sided, laminate it, and use a fine-tip dry-erase marker so the same pages work all year.

What you get
24 pages, in US Letter and A4. Instant download, ready to place in a binder or use digitally. I like to print the pages and place them in a binder for easy reference - instructions included.

Babe, let's clean the house.
