Your Venice Questions. My 26 Years Of Answers.
A private virtual conversation with a woman who has called Venice home for 26 years.
You’re coming to Venice.
You’ve saved the restaurants.
You’ve researched the hotels.
You have a list of places you think you should see.
And now you’re wondering…
“What should we actually do?”
That’s where I come in.
I’ve Been Where You Are.
The first time I came to Venice, I didn’t really know what I was doing.
I was guessing.
Where should I go?
What was actually worth seeing?
Where should I eat?
How do I get around?
Which islands are worth the time?
Venice is beautiful, but it is also a labyrinth.
And when you only have a few precious days here, figuring everything out by trial and error can mean spending your vacation walking in circles, taking unnecessary trips across the city, or spending time on things that simply aren’t right for you.
I know because I lived it.
Then I moved here.
Twenty-six years ago.
And Venice slowly became my everyday life.
I learned the streets, the boats, the neighborhoods, the islands, the restaurants, the museums and the rhythm of the city.
And I stayed curious.
I’m still discovering things.
After 26 years, I have a very different relationship with Venice than someone who simply visits for a few days.
Let’s Make Your Venice Make Sense.
This is not a generic travel consultation.
And it isn’t a pre-written itinerary.
It’s a private conversation focused on you, your interests and the kind of experience you want to have.
Bring me your questions.
Bring me your ideas.
Bring me the things you’ve already booked.
Or come with a completely open slate.
We’ll figure it out together.
We can talk about:
Where to go
Which neighborhoods, sights and experiences are worth your time—and which ones may not be right for you.
What to see
From Venice’s major landmarks to museums, churches, art, architecture and lesser-known places that might fit your interests.
Where to eat
I’ll share my personal restaurant recommendations based on what you’re looking for, whether that’s a relaxed Venetian meal, a beautiful setting, a special evening or something completely different.
And when appropriate, I can assist with restaurant reservations.
How to get around
Vaporetto, walking, private boats, airport transfers, water taxis and getting between the islands.
I’ll help you understand how Venice works so you can move through the city with confidence.
Murano and the lagoon islands
If Murano glass is on your list, I can help you understand where to go and what to look for—and I can arrange a private Murano glass experience when appropriate.
We’ll also talk about the other islands and whether they are worth including in your trip.

Day trips
Thinking about the Dolomites? The Veneto? Another Italian city?
We’ll talk through what makes sense based on your time, interests and energy.
Museums and culture
Tell me what you love—art, history, fashion, architecture, food, design, local life—and I’ll help you decide where to spend your precious time.
Understanding Venice
I’ll also help you understand the rhythm of the city itself.
How Venetians move through their day. Where to pause. When to walk and when to take the boat. How to enjoy a coffee, an aperitivo or a meal without feeling like you’re rushing through a checklist.
These are the details that can make you feel more comfortable and connected while you’re here.
Most Of All, I’ll Help You Decide.
This is the part I think is most valuable.
Because you don’t need more information.
You need someone to help you sort through it.
Maybe you’ve saved 25 restaurants.
I’ll help you narrow them down.
Maybe you’re deciding between two areas to stay.
Let’s talk about what fits your trip.
Maybe you have three days and 15 things you want to see.
Let’s get realistic.
Maybe you want beautiful experiences but don’t want to spend your entire vacation rushing from one place to another.
Perfect.
That’s exactly the conversation we should have.
Your trip should feel like YOUR trip.
Not someone else’s idea of the perfect Venice vacation.
If you already have a vision for your trip, I’ll help you refine it.
If you’re starting from scratch, we’ll build the direction together.
What I Bring To The Table
I’ve lived in Venice for 26 years.
I’ve traveled throughout Venice, the islands and the surrounding region.
I’ve worked in the world of fashion and luxury.
I’m naturally curious, so I’m always looking for new places, experiences and things worth knowing about.
I’ve built relationships over the years and have personal connections in the city.
And I’ve spent years helping visitors understand not just where to go, but how to experience Venice.
I also know what it feels like to arrive somewhere and think:
“Where do I even begin?”
That’s why I created this conversation.
I’m giving you the benefit of the 26 years I wish I had when I first started figuring Venice out.
What You’ll Leave With
By the end of our conversation, you’ll have a much clearer idea of:
I’ll also share specific recommendations based on you, your interests and the experience you’re hoping to have.
And yes, ask me anything.
This is your conversation.
If you suddenly remember something you’ve been wondering about Venice, ask me.
If you’ve heard conflicting advice, bring it.
If you’re wondering, “Is this really worth doing?”
Let’s talk about it.

These are from people who actually spent time with me and experienced my recommendations firsthand.
