They need a BOOST!
Are they struggling to understand the key concepts? Are they stuck a couple of grades below where they'd like to be? Do they understand in class but can't apply it to exam questions? Are they currently being taught by a non-specialist?

Monthly payments will be taken automatically by StanStore on the same date each month.
At the end of the year I will let you know the date to cancel the final payment. If any lessons remain, they can be paid for as stand-alone lessons at the same rate.

Meet the Tutor
Hi, I'm Emma,
I'm passionate about helping students understand tricky science concepts, not just memorise them. With over 15 years' experience teaching and tutoring AQA GCSE Science, I know exactly which topics are most likely to come up in exams — and how to teach them in a way that actually makes sense.
I have an in-depth understanding of the AQA GCSE Science specification, and how to help students gain more marks in exam questions by fine-tuning their exam technique.
Programme of Study
Each week we will study a different topic and focus on the common exam content, exam technique, and practise exam exam questions. The calendar below outlines these topics:

Please read carefully before purchasing these weekly science lessons
Lesson Format and Resources
Students must have access to a quiet area with good internet access to be able to participate in the lessons
Resources will be provided in advance via a Google drive link shared via email. These would preferably be printed out to annotate and complete lesson activities on.
A Zoom link will be provided in advance via email.
Behaviour and Expectations
Students are not required to contribute to lessons if they don't feel comfortable for any reason. They may have their cameras off and just listen and complete activities if they prefer.
Students will be expected to arrive promptly to avoid any lesson disruption and clarification by the tutor.
Offensive language or rudeness of any kind will not be tolerated and if this happens the student may be removed from the lesson, and the parent notified. This may result in the student's place in the group class being terminated.
Payments
Payment can be made as a monthly subscription or an annual payment.
Monthly Subscription
Monthly subscription is valued at £110 per month*. Payment is made via my Stanstore.
*Individual lessons are valued at £30 per lesson. There are a total of 33 teaching weeks over 9 months (week beginning September 14th to week beginning June 14th). £30 x 33 lessons = £990. £990 / 9 months = £110 per month.
Annual payment
A 10% discount will be applied if you pay upfront for all remaining months, as long as there are at least 6 months remaining (until week beginning June 14th). This payment will be made via a bank transfer after contacting me directly to calculate the amount due.
Trial Lessons
A trial lesson can be purchased by clicking here.

The monthly subscription will run from the date you sign up to the same date in the following month. The lessons the student attends will fall on or within these dates.
Cancelling
You can cancel any time.
If you need to cancel your membership of the group classes, please notify me by email and I will let you know how many lessons are left in your current monthly cycle.
You can then either complete the current cycle, or leave immediately and I will issue you a refund for the remaining lessons not attended.
Missed Lessons
Missed lessons are non-refundable, and students can access the lesson resources for that week in the relevant Google drive folder
