Join my signature Fusion Method Fundamentals (Beginner) Class Series — a program combining the centering and breath work of yoga with the elongation and postural endurance training of Scolio-Pilates®.
Each module builds on the last so you gain tools, confidence, and strength to support your unique spine.
This series is perfect for individuals with scoliosis and those with a spinal fusion who want to feel stronger, more aligned, and at ease in their body. You will learn how to reduce pain and tension, improve posture and body awareness, build strength and endurance for your spine, and learn tools you can use beyond the mat.
By the end of this course, you will have a solid foundation in understanding your scoliosis curves and rotations in the body, as well as a deeper connection to your pelvis and how its position influences your entire body. You will also become familiar with the foundational steps for each exercise, including the importance of elongation and breathing.
This knowledge of your scoliosis will carry into the exercises, and you will begin building your Scolio-Pilates vocabulary—terms, cues, and movement patterns that we use to help open and strengthen the body in its most balanced position.
For days when you need to decompress, you will also learn restorative yoga poses to relax both the mind and the body.
The course includes the following 7 Modules:
