Founder Portrait Consultation

Founder Portrait Consultation

$175

Your work has evolved. Your image should carry the same weight.

Founder Portraits are made for moments when something is changing.

A launch. A new role. An opening. A raise. A growing public presence. A new chapter that means the photographs representing you need to catch up with the work you're already doing.

This consultation is where we begin.

It's a focused conversation about where you are, where you're headed, and where these images need to live.

Before we talk about cameras, wardrobe or poses, I want to understand the moment you're in. What's happening in your work? What's coming next? Who needs to encounter you? What should they understand about you before you've ever entered the room?

We'll talk about your work, your point of view, your upcoming opportunities and the places your portraits need to perform, from your website and social presence to press, speaking, launches, investor materials and beyond.

Together, we'll begin identifying the language, feeling and visual direction that should define this chapter.

During our call, we'll:

• Define the moment you're preparing for and why new imagery matters now

• Identify where your portraits will live and what they need to accomplish there

• Talk through the qualities, ideas and point of view your portraits should communicate

• Consider environment, wardrobe and visual direction

• Determine the scope your moment actually requires

• Identify the Founder Portrait experience that best fits what's ahead

You'll leave with a clearer understanding of what these photographs need to say, where they need to work, and what we'll create together.

You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what the photographs should look like.

Bring me the chapter you're entering.

We'll build the visual language for it together.

Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: August 13, 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using this website or making a purchase.

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of stan.store/shoncurtis, any related websites operated by Shon Curtis Houston, a sole proprietor operating under the name Shon Curtis, and the digital products, downloads, educational materials, consultations, calls, programs, and other offerings made available through them (collectively, the “Site”).

Shon Curtis Houston, a sole proprietor operating under the name Shon Curtis, is referred to in these Terms as the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our.” Anyone who accesses the Site or purchases an offering is referred to as “you” or the “customer.”

By accessing the Site, checking a box accepting these Terms, or completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or purchase its offerings.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to make a purchase. If you use the Site on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that business or organization to these Terms.

1. Scope of These Terms

These Terms govern use of the Site and purchases made through it.

Some Company services, including photography, creative direction, consulting, campaign development, production, licensing, or strategy engagements, may require a separate proposal, statement of work, license, or client service agreement. If you and the Company sign a separate written agreement, that agreement will control the services it covers if it conflicts with these Terms. These Terms do not cancel or replace a separately signed client agreement.

2. Limited License and Permitted Use

Subject to your payment and compliance with these Terms, the Company grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to access and use the Site and any purchased materials for your own personal or internal business use, unless the applicable product page expressly provides different permissions.

You may use your own completed responses, notes, conclusions, and original work created while using a Company product in your personal brand or business. You may not reproduce or distribute the underlying product, framework, prompts, worksheets, templates, videos, recordings, or instructional materials to other people or businesses.

Purchasing a product gives you permission to use it. It does not transfer ownership of the product or any Company intellectual property to you.

3. Intellectual Property

The Site and its contents, including all text, photographs, artwork, graphics, videos, audio recordings, downloads, documents, worksheets, templates, training materials, methods, frameworks, product names, page designs, software, and other materials made available by the Company (collectively, the “Content”), are owned by or licensed to the Company and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual-property laws.

This includes, where applicable, the Company’s Visual Authority concepts, audits, systems, questions, processes, creative methods, and related educational materials.

Except for the limited license provided in these Terms, you may not, without the Company’s prior written permission:

  • copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, translate, transmit, or distribute the Content;

  • share purchased files, links, passwords, recordings, or account access with another person;

  • sell, license, sublicense, rent, modify, or create derivative commercial products from the Content;

  • use the Content to provide a competing product, course, audit, workshop, consulting service, or client deliverable;

  • remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or proprietary notices;

  • scrape, systematically download, or extract Content from the Site; or

  • use the Content to train, fine-tune, test, or develop an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system without the Company’s written permission.

Any permission not expressly granted in these Terms is reserved by the Company.

If you believe that content on the Site infringes your intellectual-property rights, contact shon@shoncurtis.com and provide your name, contact information, a description of the protected work, the location of the allegedly infringing material, and any other information reasonably necessary to evaluate the concern.

4. Purchases and Payment

You agree to pay the price, applicable taxes, and any other charges clearly disclosed at checkout for each product or service you purchase. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information and a valid payment method.

Payments may be processed by third-party providers, including Stan and Stripe. Your use of those services may also be subject to their respective terms and privacy practices. The Company does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.

Prices, product features, and availability may change at any time before purchase. A later price reduction, discount, or promotional offer does not entitle you to a refund or price adjustment for an earlier purchase.

You agree not to initiate a payment dispute or chargeback for a purchase you authorized without first contacting the Company and making a reasonable effort to resolve the issue. Nothing in this paragraph limits any rights you cannot legally waive.

5. Digital Products, Access, and Delivery

Digital products may include audits, guides, workbooks, templates, recordings, downloads, courses, or other electronically delivered materials. Delivery may occur through the Site, a customer account, a download page, or an email sent to the address provided at checkout.

You are responsible for entering an accurate email address, maintaining access to that email account, downloading or accessing materials within any period disclosed on the product page, and using compatible devices and software.

The Company does not promise permanent or lifetime access unless the applicable product page expressly states that lifetime access is included. The Company may update, replace, relocate, or discontinue a delivery platform while making commercially reasonable efforts to preserve any access period expressly included with your purchase.

6. Refund Policy for Digital Products

Except where required by law, purchases of digital products are final and non-refundable once access or delivery has been provided. This policy reflects the immediate-access and reproducible nature of digital materials.

Refunds will not ordinarily be provided because you changed your mind, did not use or complete the product, expected a different personal or business result, or failed to review requirements that were clearly disclosed before purchase.

If a technical problem prevents you from accessing a purchased digital product, contact shon@shoncurtis.com within seven calendar days of purchase. The Company will make reasonable efforts to restore access or provide a replacement. If the Company cannot provide the purchased product within a reasonable period, the Company will issue a refund of the amount paid for that product.

If a product becomes unavailable after purchase but before access or delivery is provided, your remedy will be replacement with an equivalent offering that you accept or a refund of the amount paid.

Nothing in these Terms limits a refund, cancellation, warranty, or other consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or waived.

7. Consultations, Coaching Calls, and Appointments

If your purchase includes a consultation, coaching call, review, or other scheduled appointment, you are responsible for booking it and attending at the confirmed time. Any booking deadline or included scheduling period disclosed on the product page also applies.

Appointments are non-refundable except where required by law or when the Company cancels and cannot provide a reasonable replacement time.

You may request one reschedule by emailing shon@shoncurtis.com with the subject line “CALL RESCHEDULE – [DATE AND TIME OF CALL]” at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

A cancellation or rescheduling request received fewer than 48 hours before the appointment, or failure to attend without notice, will ordinarily result in forfeiture of the appointment without a refund. The Company may make a different accommodation for a documented emergency at its discretion, but is not required to do so.

If the Company must cancel an appointment, you may choose a reasonable replacement time. If no reasonable replacement can be provided, the Company will refund the amount specifically paid for the unused appointment.

8. Educational and Results Disclaimer

The Content and offerings are provided for educational, informational, and strategic-development purposes. They are not legal, tax, accounting, investment, medical, or mental-health advice. You should consult a qualified professional when advice in one of those areas is needed.

The Company does not guarantee revenue, earnings, audience growth, engagement, publicity, sponsorships, clients, employment, business opportunities, campaign performance, or any other specific result. Examples, testimonials, case studies, and past outcomes illustrate individual experiences and do not promise that you will achieve the same outcome.

Your results depend on factors outside the Company’s control, including your experience, judgment, market, resources, effort, consistency, implementation, audience, finances, and business decisions. You remain solely responsible for evaluating information, making decisions, implementing recommendations, and operating your business.

9. Customer Materials and Feedback

You retain ownership of original materials and information you submit to the Company, including your written responses, images, brand materials, business information, and other customer-provided content (“Customer Materials”).

You grant the Company a limited, non-exclusive license to access, reproduce, and use Customer Materials only as reasonably necessary to deliver the product or service you requested, provide support, maintain business records, comply with law, or protect the Company’s legal rights.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to provide any Customer Materials you submit and that the Company’s authorized use of them will not violate another person’s rights.

If you voluntarily provide general ideas, comments, or suggestions about improving a Company product or service (“Feedback”), the Company may use that Feedback without restriction or compensation, provided the Company does not publicly identify you as its source without permission.

The Company will not publicly use your name, likeness, testimonial, private business information, photographs, or project materials for advertising or portfolio purposes without permission or another agreement authorizing that use.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site or Content to:

  • violate any applicable law or another person’s rights;

  • transmit malware, harmful code, or material intended to disrupt the Site;

  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to an account, system, file, or network;

  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;

  • harass, threaten, defame, exploit, or harm another person;

  • submit content you do not have the right to use;

  • interfere with the Site’s operation or another customer’s use of it;

  • bypass access, security, payment, or copy-protection measures; or

  • engage in any prohibited reproduction, resale, distribution, or commercial exploitation of the Content.

11. Privacy and Electronic Communications

The Company may receive information you provide through the Site, including your name, email address, purchase details, questionnaire responses, communications, and other information necessary to fulfill your order. Stan, Stripe, and other service providers may collect additional technical, transaction, device, or usage information under their own terms and privacy practices.

The Company may use information reasonably necessary to:

  • process and deliver purchases;

  • provide customer service and technical support;

  • schedule and administer appointments;

  • maintain transaction and business records;

  • improve the Site and Company offerings;

  • prevent fraud, misuse, or security incidents;

  • comply with legal obligations; and

  • send marketing communications when you have opted in or when otherwise permitted by law.

The Company may share information with service providers that assist with payment processing, website hosting, digital delivery, scheduling, email, analytics, recordkeeping, or professional services. The Company may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce these Terms, investigate fraud or misuse, or protect the rights and safety of the Company or others.

The Company uses commercially reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no online service, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

By making a purchase, you consent to receiving transactional communications concerning your order, access, appointments, policy updates, and customer support. If you separately subscribe to marketing emails, you may unsubscribe through the link in those messages or by contacting shon@shoncurtis.com. Unsubscribing from marketing messages will not prevent necessary transactional communications about an active purchase or appointment.

You may contact shon@shoncurtis.com to request reasonable access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information maintained directly by the Company, subject to identity verification and any records the Company must retain for legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, or legitimate business purposes.

12. Third-Party Platforms and Links

The Site may depend on or link to third-party platforms, websites, software, integrations, or service providers, including Stan, Stripe, email providers, scheduling services, video-conferencing platforms, and social-media services.

The Company does not control and is not responsible for the independent content, policies, availability, security, or performance of third-party services. A problem caused solely by a third-party provider is subject to that provider’s terms, although the Company will make reasonable efforts to assist with delivery problems involving a Company purchase.

Links to third-party resources are provided for convenience or information and do not necessarily constitute an endorsement.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and Content are provided “as is” and “as available.” The Company makes no express or implied warranty that the Site or Content will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, compatible with every device or software configuration, or suitable for every customer’s particular needs.

The Company does not warrant that every error will be corrected or that the Site, servers, files, or communications will always be free of harmful components. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate devices, software, backups, and security protections.

Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion of certain warranties. Any exclusion in these Terms applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company and its contractors, service providers, agents, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, reliance, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, opportunities, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to the Site, Content, or a purchase, even if advised that such damages were possible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company’s total liability arising from or related to a particular product, service, or transaction will not exceed the amount you actually paid to the Company for that product, service, or transaction during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including liability resulting from fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence where applicable law prohibits such a limitation.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company and its contractors, agents, and representatives from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising directly from:

  • your material breach of these Terms;

  • your unlawful or unauthorized use of the Site or Content;

  • Customer Materials that infringe or violate a third party’s rights; or

  • your fraud, willful misconduct, or violation of applicable law.

The Company will provide reasonable notice of a covered claim and may control its defense. You will not be required to indemnify the Company for a claim caused by the Company’s own fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence.

16. Suspension and Termination

The Company may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or Content if the Company reasonably believes you have materially violated these Terms, infringed intellectual-property rights, engaged in fraud or unlawful conduct, threatened the security of the Site, or shared or redistributed purchased materials without authorization.

When reasonably practical, the Company will provide notice and an opportunity to correct a curable violation. Immediate suspension may occur when necessary to protect customers, intellectual property, payment systems, or Site security.

Termination does not eliminate payment obligations or provisions that by their nature should survive, including provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, dispute terms, and separately signed agreements.

17. Events Outside the Company’s Control

The Company will not be responsible for a delay or failure caused by circumstances reasonably outside its control, including natural disasters, severe weather, widespread internet or utility outages, labor disputes, government actions, war, terrorism, civil unrest, public-health emergencies, platform outages, or failures of essential third-party providers.

The Company will make reasonable efforts to resume performance. If such an event prevents delivery of a paid offering for an unreasonable period and no reasonable substitute is available, the Company will provide a prorated refund for the undelivered portion.

18. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without giving effect to conflict-of-law principles.

To the extent a dispute may legally be subject to an agreed venue, you consent to the jurisdiction of the state courts located in Montgomery County, Ohio, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Nothing in this section prevents either party from bringing a claim in small-claims court when eligible or exercising a consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

Before filing a lawsuit, you and the Company agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days after one party sends written notice describing the dispute and requested resolution. This requirement does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or taking action necessary to preserve a legal claim before a limitations period expires.

19. Changes to These Terms

The Company may revise these Terms by posting an updated version on the Site and changing the Effective Date above. Changes will apply prospectively from the updated Effective Date unless applicable law requires otherwise.

The version presented or linked at the time of purchase will govern that purchase, together with any product-specific terms disclosed at checkout and any separately signed agreement. Material changes will not retroactively reduce rights attached to a completed purchase without notice or legal authority.

20. General Provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted or treated as severable, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

The Company’s failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of its right to enforce that provision later. Headings are included for convenience and do not limit the meaning of these Terms.

You may not assign or transfer your purchase, account access, license, or obligations under these Terms without the Company’s written permission. The Company may assign these Terms as part of a legitimate sale, transfer, reorganization, or succession of its business, subject to applicable law.

These Terms, any product-specific terms shown at checkout, and any applicable separately signed agreement constitute the agreement between you and the Company regarding their respective subject matter.
