Discover Slow Living: Your Escape Plan [1]

Discover Slow Living: Your Escape Plan [1]

$19$50

A 50-page guide with 30 exercises that helps you plan a calmer life outside the big city, step by step and at your own pace.

You can do your job from almost anywhere now. Your laptop goes with you, and most of your clients only know you through a screen anyway. And still most of us stay in the same expensive, loud city, because that's where we happened to be when the job went remote.

I lived like that for years, in big cities of two or three million people, walking to the same coworking desk every morning. Work was fine. My head was tired all the time and I took that as normal.

Today I live in a much smaller city in the north of Poland. Medieval castles, clean lakes, forests all around. I still work online with clients from several countries. The difference is what happens around the work. A walk in the forest at lunch takes five minutes to start. Evenings are quiet. My days feel longer.

Getting here took a lot of small decisions, and I wrote every one of them down. That's this guide. NOT AI-written.

What you get out of it

  • A clear picture of what kind of slower life you actually want, before you look at a single town

  • A list of your work skills that travel with you, and ideas for a second income if you want one

  • A side-by-side cost comparison of your current city and a place you're curious about

  • A daily rhythm that gives you energy back after work

  • A step-by-step plan to test a new place for a weekend or a week before you commit to anything

What's inside the 50 pages

Chapter 1. Understanding your escape Why you want a slower life, the 5 escape archetypes, your personal escape criteria, a mental decluttering worksheet and a stop-doing list.

Chapter 2. Work and money Your portable skills inventory, a snapshot of active and passive income ideas, a small challenge to find one problem you could get paid to solve, and the cost-of-living check for two real places.

Chapter 3. Your days Core values, a weekly energy map, a script for your ideal slow day, a community checklist and a time block reality check.

Chapter 4. Making the move The mini-escape plan, the local life challenge, a relocation checklist, your first 7 days after moving, and a simple framework for the doubts that will come up.

At the end, one page puts your whole plan in one view. 30 exercises in total. Print it or fill it in on a tablet.

Who wrote it

I'm Aleks. I've worked online for years, with clients in different countries, and I'm also a licensed local tour guide in my region, so part of my week is spent outdoors with people who come to visit. Slovlog is where I share this slower way of living. The name has a small joke in it: slov log.in, like logging in to a slower life.

This guide is for you if

  • You work remotely, freelance, or could work online with a few changes

  • You live in a big city and keep thinking about forests, lakes or the sea

  • You want a real plan with numbers and steps, at a pace that fits your life

You don't need a moving date or big savings to start. Most of the guide is about the time before a move.

One honest note: there's no visa or tax advice for specific countries inside. Those rules depend on where you go, so please check them locally.

The price

The guide is $19. You get the PDF by email right after paying.

Questions

Is it a printed book? No, it's a 50-page PDF that you can print or fill in on a screen.

I'm not ready to move. Is it still useful? Yes. Chapters 1 to 3 are about understanding what you want, your income and your days. You can stop there and move in a few years, or never.

Does it only work for Europe? No. I use my region as an example in a few places, and every exercise works in any country.

What if it's not for me? Let’s be honest: I wrote this ebook myself, drawing on my own experience and weeks of work. It’s not AI slop or a collection of generic tips. It’s a personal perspective on slow living that I hope will help you see things differently.
I’ve shared a screenshot and a preview so you can get a feel for the book before spending your money. Please take a look and decide whether it’s for you. If it isn’t, no hard feelings. Once you download your copy, I don’t offer refunds for a change of mind, subject to your statutory consumer rights. If there’s a problem with the file or your order, please contact me.

*Before you buy you agree with: "I consent to immediate delivery of the ebook and acknowledge that I lose my right of withdrawal once the download begins".

In London, I worked as a freelance designer with a full calendar and impressive clients, but I was always chasing deadlines and undercharging. Coffee-fueled days and late-night edits turned creativity into a chore. One rainy afternoon, stuck in traffic, I stared at a photo of a quiet Portuguese village I’d visited years earlier. I didn’t need more hustle – I needed space to breathe. I sold most of my things and moved to a whitewashed house near the coast. Work stayed, but I reshaped it: fewer clients, better output. Mornings start with cliff walks, afternoons designing at my kitchen table. I’ve learned the tides, met the bakery’s regulars, and embraced unhurried days. I didn’t escape to hide – I left to truly arrive.

In Chicago, I worked in corporate sales for over a decade. The pay was good, but every day felt like wearing someone else’s life. I don’t measure my life in sales targets anymore. I measure it in books read, sunsets seen, and new skills learned. For the first time, I feel like my life is mine.

Three years ago, I was living in a high-rise apartment in Berlin, working 60 hours a week as a project manager. I had money, but no time, and my health was starting to suffer. I thought about slowing down, but I didn’t know where to start. Then I spent a weekend in a small Polish town in Warmia- Mazury – surrounded by lakes, spruce forests, and quiet red- brick streets – and something clicked.
