Discover Slow Living: Your Escape Plan [2]

Discover Slow Living: Your Escape Plan [2]

$19$50

The full plan in one 50-page guide, with 30 exercises you can use for your own move, whenever you are ready.

For most of my life I lived in very big cities. Two million people, three million people, sometimes more. I liked a lot of it. There was good food and interesting people, and something was always happening.

What I didn't see for a long time was the price. I don't only mean the rent, although that was a big part. I was tired almost every evening, I needed the weekend just to recover, and a free Saturday without plans made me nervous. I thought everyone lived like that.

The change didn't happen in one day. I started by asking myself what exactly I was tired of, and what I would miss if I left. Then I looked at money. Then I tested a smaller place for a while before I moved anything.

Now I live in a much smaller city in the north of Poland. There are medieval castles in the area, lakes so clean you see the bottom near the shore, and forest in every direction. I do the same online work as before. My evenings are mine again.

I put the whole process into this guide, so you don't have to work it out alone like I did.

What you will work out with this guide

  • What you really want to leave behind, and what you want to keep from city life

  • Where you sit between big city and countryside, using a simple fit line

  • What your life would cost in a smaller place, compared line by line with where you live now

  • How to keep your income steady during the change

  • How to try a new place for a week before you decide

Who wrote it

I'm Aleks, the founder of Slovlog. I have worked online with clients from several countries for years. After moving I also became a licensed local guide, so I now spend part of my week outdoors with people visiting the region. That second, offline job came from slowing down. I didn't plan it.

This guide is for you if

  • You live in a big, busy city and feel tired more often than you'd like to admit

  • Your work is online or could become online

  • You want to decide with real numbers, and you'd rather test a place than jump

If you already moved somewhere quieter, chapters 2 and 3 will still help with money and routines.

There's no visa or tax advice for specific countries inside. Those depend on where you go, so check them locally.

The price

The guide is $19. You get the PDF by email right after paying.

Questions

Is it a printed book? No, it's a 50-page PDF that you can print or fill in on a screen.

I'm not ready to move. Is it still useful? Yes. Chapters 1 to 3 are about understanding what you want, your income and your days. You can stop there and move in a few years, or never.

Does it only work for Europe? No. I use my region as an example in a few places, and every exercise works in any country.

What if it's not for me? Let’s be honest: I wrote this ebook myself, drawing on my own experience and weeks of work. It’s not AI slop or a collection of generic tips. It’s a personal perspective on slow living that I hope will help you see things differently.
I’ve shared a screenshot and a preview so you can get a feel for the book before spending your money. Please take a look and decide whether it’s for you. If it isn’t, no hard feelings. Once you download your copy, I don’t offer refunds for a change of mind, subject to your statutory consumer rights. If there’s a problem with the file or your order, please contact me.

In London, I worked as a freelance designer with a full calendar and impressive clients, but I was always chasing deadlines and undercharging. Coffee-fueled days and late-night edits turned creativity into a chore. One rainy afternoon, stuck in traffic, I stared at a photo of a quiet Portuguese village I’d visited years earlier. I didn’t need more hustle – I needed space to breathe. I sold most of my things and moved to a whitewashed house near the coast. Work stayed, but I reshaped it: fewer clients, better output. Mornings start with cliff walks, afternoons designing at my kitchen table. I’ve learned the tides, met the bakery’s regulars, and embraced unhurried days. I didn’t escape to hide – I left to truly arrive.

In Chicago, I worked in corporate sales for over a decade. The pay was good, but every day felt like wearing someone else’s life. I don’t measure my life in sales targets anymore. I measure it in books read, sunsets seen, and new skills learned. For the first time, I feel like my life is mine.

Three years ago, I was living in a high-rise apartment in Berlin, working 60 hours a week as a project manager. I had money, but no time, and my health was starting to suffer. I thought about slowing down, but I didn’t know where to start. Then I spent a weekend in a small Polish town in Warmia- Mazury – surrounded by lakes, spruce forests, and quiet red- brick streets – and something clicked.
