The Temple Muse Project

Where the Erotic Self Becomes Sacred Art

The Temple Muse Project is an act of devotion to the feminine — her body, her desire, her power, her right to be seen. A space where femmes can bring their full erotic selves and be met with reverence. In Daoism the feminine is the expression, the masculine is the witness NOT the oppressor. The art we make together is an offering to the Goddess.

Femme identifiers submit photographs of themselves: sensual, powerful, vulnerable, ecstatic and become the Muse. These photographs are offerings. If the image sparks creative fire, the Temple Artist as a witness transforms it into an original hand-drawn Icon: a modern archetype, a piece of the divine made visible.

"Every person carries within them a mythic self — a divine archetype waiting to be witnessed."

The result is a living archive — a growing pantheon of real people revealed as sacred figures. Each Icon is assigned a place in the Archive, a number, and an Archetype:

The archive grows with each new offering.

Every Icon Begins With an Act of Trust

A Muse offers their image to the temple. The Witness receives it with reverence and meditates with it. When the Goddess speaks, the work begins.

Not every offering becomes an Icon. The Witness draws only what the Goddess demands.

When an Icon is made, the Muse is revealed to themselves as myth. They receive their designation — a number and an Archetype — and their place in the Archive is sealed forever.

THE CARDS (Art Cards Editions and Originals)

Each Icon is created as an ACEO — an Art Card, Edition and Original. ACEOs are a recognized format in the art collecting world: small, intimate works measuring exactly 2.5″ × 3.5″ — the size of a playing card, made to be held in the hand.

In the Temple Muse Project, every ACEO is:

  • An original hand-drawn work — ink, pencil, and mixed media on card stock

  • One of a kind — no prints, no reproductions of any kind

  • The only card of its kind in existence

Every card carries the full identity of the work:

  • The Temple Muse Project name and emblem

  • The Archive number

  • The Archetype symbol

  • A sacred inscription — a single line chosen by The Witness for that Muse alone

  • The Witness's signature

To hold one of these cards is to hold an original work of sacred art — intimate in scale, mythic in intention. The cards will then be offered for sale or trade.
