From 6 months, your baby’s iron stores run out — and food has to do 100% of the work.
Iron deficiency is the most common nutrient deficiency in babies worldwide. It affects development, immunity, appetite and sleep. And most parents don’t find out until it’s already happened.
The problem isn’t that mums don’t care. It’s that planning iron-rich meals, every day, while also managing textures, allergens, fussiness and a baby who won’t nap — is genuinely a lot.
So I planned it all for you.
THIS IS FOR YOU IF
— You know iron matters but you’re guessing at whether your baby is getting enough
— You’re tired of standing at the fridge at 7am with no plan
— You want to understand why foods work, not just follow a recipe
— You’re doing purées, BLW, or both, and want one plan that covers it
— You want to track what your baby is actually eating without an app
— You’d rather spend 90 minutes on a Sunday than 20 minutes every single day

FAQ
Is this for purées or baby-led weaning?
Both. Every meal has a purée version and a BLW version, so you can pick whichever suits your baby that week — or switch between them.
My baby is already 10 months. Is it too late?
Not at all. The plan runs from 6 to 12 months and the later weeks are built for older babies. Start at week 4 or 5 if that fits better — you don’t have to begin at day one.
Do I have to follow it exactly?
No. Most people use it as a rotation rather than a rigid schedule. The nutrition notes tell you why each meal is there, so you can swap confidently.
What if my baby has allergies?
Egg, fish and dairy appear throughout. The nutrition notes explain what each ingredient contributes, so you can substitute knowingly. If your baby hasn’t been introduced to an allergen yet, follow current guidance and introduce it separately first.
Do I need special equipment?
No. A blender or hand blender, a steamer or saucepan, and ice cube trays for freezing. That’s genuinely it.
Is it a physical book?
No — digital PDF only. You’ll get the download link immediately after purchase.
Can I share it?
It’s licensed for personal use. If a friend would find it useful, please send them to buy their own copy — it’s what keeps this work going.
