Mama Cacao / KAKAO is an ancient plant ally that has been worked with ceremonially for generations... inviting us to soften the heart, deepen our connection to ourselves and one another, and remember the sacredness woven into everyday life.

Each private Cacao / KAKAO ceremony is intentionally curated around the people gathering, the season of life being honored, and the intention of the group. Price of this offering is determined by client-ceremonialst relationship.

Each ceremony is unique and may include:

Depending on the intention and timing of the gathering, astrological or seasonal wisdom may also be woven into the ceremony.

The intention is not to follow a rigid formula, but to listen to the group, the moment, the land, and the wisdom of cacao.

LOCATION

Private ceremonies may be held in a rented ceremony or studio space local to Phoenix or Sedona, outdoors in connection with the land when appropriate, or I can travel to a private home, retreat property, workplace, or gathering space.

Location, travel, room rental, group size, duration, and ceremony details are determined together based on the unique practitioner-client relationship and vision for the gathering.

For outdoor ceremonies, the exact location may shift depending on weather, accessibility, land conditions, group needs, and what feels most supportive for the experience.

OPTIONAL ADD-ONS

For retreats and intimate groups desiring a deeper experience, additional modalities may be available depending on the intention and scope of the gathering, including:

WHY KAKAO?

Ceremonial cacao contains naturally occurring compounds and nutrients including theobromine, magnesium, iron, antioxidants and polyphenols.

Beyond its nutritional qualities, cacao can serve as a beautiful ritual ally for slowing down, gathering intentionally, opening conversation, supporting presence, and creating space to listen more deeply.

Within ceremony, we approach cacao not as a quick fix or cure, but as a plant ally and invitation into relationship... with the body, the heart, the Earth, and one another.

BEFORE WE GATHER

Once your ceremony is booked, we’ll connect around your vision, group, location, occasion, and intentions so the experience can be thoughtfully curated.

Participants will also receive any relevant preparation guidance and cacao considerations prior to gathering.

Any allergies I should be aware of when preparing the KAKAO? For example, most Kakao is brewed with the raw ceremonial chocolate, vanilla, chile, and sometimes includes cinnamon, cardamom, turmeric, honey, pumpkin spice, etc. I do NOT prepare Kakao with any milks or nut mylks. Simply Kakao and water.
BOOKING + PAYMENT AGREEMENT All payments made toward private KAKAO ceremonies are **final and non-refundable**. By submitting payment, you acknowledge that you are reserving a specific date, preparation time, ceremonial cacao, supplies, and facilitator capacity for your private gathering. If circumstances arise that require your ceremony to be rescheduled, please reach out as soon as possible. Rescheduling requests will be considered based on availability and the circumstances of the gathering; however, payments are not eligible for cash or credit-card refunds. Any additional expenses agreed upon for your ceremony — including room or venue rental, travel, lodging, specialty supplies, or additional practitioners — will be communicated prior to the gathering and may be subject to their own cancellation policies. Cacao is offered as part of a ceremonial and educational experience and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health condition. Participants are responsible for communicating relevant health considerations, medications, pregnancy, sensitivities, or other concerns prior to consuming cacao and for determining whether participation is appropriate for them. By booking, you acknowledge and agree to the terms above.
