Sometimes the hardest part isn't knowing that you're feeling something.

It's expressing it.

You may know there is more you want to say, show, or share, yet expressing yourself, especially with another person, can feel vulnerable, uncertain, uncomfortable, or even unsafe.

So you hold back. You search for the right words. You question what you're feeling. Or you keep parts of yourself contained because expressing them feels harder than keeping them inside.

But expression doesn't begin only with words.

The Expressive Journey helps you discover another language: movement.

From Awareness to Expression

The Expressive Journey is a private, 10-session experience that progressively builds your capacity to notice, understand, and express yourself through movement.

Working one-on-one with Aletia Giselle, you'll begin with simple, accessible practices such as breath, body awareness, and walking. As your awareness and comfort develop, the experiences gradually progress into creative exploration, improvisation, and symbolic and abstract movement.

You aren't expected to know how to express yourself through movement when you begin.

That's what the journey is designed to help you discover:

  • Discover what you notice in your body and movement.

  • Decode the patterns, qualities, emotions, and responses that emerge through movement.

  • Deepen the experience by exploring the personal meaning your movement holds for you.

Over time, movement becomes more than something you do. It becomes another way to recognize what you're experiencing, give it form, explore its meaning, and practice expressing what may have been difficult to communicate.

The goal is greater freedom to feel, move, create, and express more of yourself, with yourself and with others.

Terms and Conditions

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE OR PURCHASING

Booking, Payment, Refund & Cancellation Policy

Payment

  • Payment is due at the time of purchase unless otherwise arranged in writing.

Refund & Transfer Policy

  • All purchases, including individual sessions, session packages, workshops, groups, classes, special events, and digital products, are FINAL, NON-REFUNDABLE, AND NON-TRANSFERABLE.

  • Unused sessions, unused package sessions, missed appointments, workshops, groups, classes, or events are not eligible for refunds, credits, transfers, or make-up sessions unless otherwise stated in writing.

If The Expressive Apothecary cancels a scheduled session, workshop, class, group, or event, participants will be offered the opportunity to reschedule, receive credit toward a future offering, or receive a full refund if the service cannot reasonably be rescheduled.

Requests for exceptions due to illness, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed.

Session & Package Expiration

Unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase:

  • Individual sessions must be used within 30 days of the purchase date.

  • Session packages must be completed within 30 days after the scheduled end of the package.

  • Expired or unused sessions are forfeited and may not be redeemed, transferred, or refunded.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an individual session.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice and no-show appointments may result in the forfeiture of the scheduled session or be charged the full session fee.

Workshops, groups, classes, and special events are not eligible for rescheduling unless otherwise stated.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

Cancellation or rescheduling requests must be submitted by text message or email. The timestamp on the message will serve as the official notice.

Late Arrivals

Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. Arriving late may result in a shortened session without any reduction in fees.

Agreement

By purchasing or participating in any service or offering provided by The Expressive Apothecary, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to this Booking, Payment, Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • I understand that participation in services offered by The Expressive Apothecary, including individual sessions, session packages, workshops, movement classes, groups, presentations, special events, digital products and other offerings, may involve physical movement and emotional self-reflection.

  • I voluntarily choose to participate and assume full responsibility for my participation, including any risks associated with physical movement.

  • I affirm that I am physically able to participate and understand that it is my responsibility to consult a healthcare provider if I have any medical conditions or concerns that may affect my participation.

  • I agree to participate within my own comfort and ability, to modify or stop participation if I experience pain, dizziness, discomfort, or other concerning symptoms, and to inform the facilitator of any relevant limitations when appropriate.

  • I understand that services provided by The Expressive Apothecary are intended for educational, wellness, and personal growth purposes and are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, I voluntarily release and hold harmless The Expressive Apothecary, its owner, instructors, facilitators, employees, contractors, and volunteers from liability for injuries, losses, or damages arising from my participation, except where prohibited by law, including claims involving gross negligence or willful misconduct.

  • I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to this Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk.

Nature of Services

I understand that the services provided by The Expressive Apothecary are educational and wellness-oriented and are intended to support personal growth, self-awareness, and well-being. These services are not medical treatment and are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.

I understand that participation in these offerings does not establish a physician-patient relationship and should not be relied upon as a replacement for care provided by a licensed medical provider. I agree to consult my healthcare provider regarding any medical conditions or concerns that may affect my ability to participate safely.
