Last year I made a huge business decision. I will never forget the feeling I had when it came to creating content in a place that once felt so comfortable. I would open my phone, stare at the blinking cursor, and ask myself... what am I even doing? I was sharing stories all day long because that's what it felt like I had to do in order to stay relevant but as the days went by I ended up feeling really lost. I would share one type of content one week, and something completely opposite the next. I found myself trying so many new things I was so overwhelmed, I would lay my head down at night and feel like I had accomplished nothing.
As someone growing a business, it left me feeling defeated. Maybe this was just not the thing for me anymore...
I'm a mom, I don't want to spend every waking hour on my phone just to grow my business anymore. I'm not into it - I'd rather throw my phone in the garbage than feel like I need to be on it every waking second to make a sale.
I was at the 11K follower mark for YEARS. I had a low engagement rate, I would change my content often to see if maybe something different would be more successful, and guess what, nothing worked.
