This is the tracker I actually use every month to keep on top of my own household finances.
The bit that makes this different from every other tracker out there is the weekly expenses log inside each month, so instead of just seeing your total at the end of the month, you can actually catch overspending while it's happening, week by week.

Formulas calculated for you, so you'll get an overview of your finances as soon as you add your data
Dropdown categories
There's no year built into the file, so you're not buying something that expires in December, just duplicate a tab and carry the same tracker into next year, and the year after that.
Works in Excel, no Google account or extra app needed, just open it and go.
