I want to help you start making real progress on the saxophone.

All skill levels welcome!

Hi there and thanks for stopping by! Whether you're here for a one time session, are interested in regular weekly lessons or something in between, I look forward to working with you soon. We can use the time to look at specific areas that you might want help with or less specific concepts that will apply to all areas of your saxophone playing!

Focus areas may include:

• Saxophone Fundamentals and General Playing Techniques: embouchure, tone development, articulation, and more

• Music Theory: practical music theory concepts for playing and understanding music

• Classic Repertoire: concert band music, etudes, full length pieces

• Jazz & Improvisation: foundational to advanced jazz techniques, jazz phrasing, jazz theory, improvising

• Overall Musicality: interpretation, expression, stylistic awareness

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions and I look forward to meeting with you soon!
