Thanks for reaching out about working with Variable Seams! This call is a chance to discuss what you have in mind and see if we're a good fit.

During the Call

We can discuss your goals, ideas, deliverables, budget, timeline, usage/IP and what you'd particularly like to showcase. Don't worry if you don't have a finished brief yet; I'm happy to explore what's possible together.

I generally work with brands in two ways:

Design & R&D Collaboration

This is for brands looking for wider 3D-printing experimentation or a custom design. This could mean testing the possibilities of a new printer or filament, combining technologies into an unusual application (my behind-the-scenes speciality!), or developing a specific design to showcase your brand.

Day rate starts from £175, or we can agree on a set fee per milestone.
IP and confidentiality can be agreed as part of the project. Generally, I won't share work until approved.
The project can develop into a content collaboration afterwards if you'd like to share the results.

Content Collaboration

This is for brands looking for creative content and/or product visibility through the @variableseams channels. This works best when I have creative freedom to develop the concept around your printer, material or technology, with an agreed brief and approval process.

Fixed rate per video starting from £500 or view-based tiered pricing depending on the project.
Primarily short-form, although I'm also available for long-form and larger campaigns and more complex collaborations.
New 3D-printed designs require time for development, testing and printing, so I generally can't accommodate tight deadlines unless we're working with an existing design.
