When I became a stay-at-home mom, I never thought I'd be baking bread. That was my husband's thing. But God had different plans.
Eventually, he didn't have time anymore and I had to do it. So, I learned how to make bread and hamburger buns which eventually lead to me learning how to make sourdough. And honest, I just figured it out and had fun doing it. So in writing this guide I had to do a lot of research and I reference lots of other sourdough gurus. But here I am today doing something daily that I never thought I'd do... all because I love it and it brings me joy. I hope it brings you joy too.
In this guide you will learn how to start from the very beginning of making your own starter from scratch (no you don't have to hunt it down or buy it) to being able to turn any recipe you wish into sourdough. You'll be able to practice baking all the things from breads to pizza to cake... all with sourdough.
And remember baking - especially sourdough baking - is a journey. Practice, find joy in it, and try again and again and again.
Here's to taking delight in good homemade food.
