Monthly Workshop at the YMCA

This membership gives you access to workshops, shared experiences, and a space where people from all walks of life come together to learn, collaborate, and grow.

This is about building real community—right here in Cumberland County—so you don’t have to drive far to learn something new, try something hands-on, or connect with others in a meaningful way.

Each month brings a different experience. From creating things like body butter bars, learning practical skills like budgeting or meal planning, to exploring food and culture from different backgrounds—these workshops are shaped by the needs and interests of the community.

We also collaborate with local and visiting facilitators who bring knowledge you can’t always get from a screen—because some things are better learned together, in person.

All memberships follow a use-it-or-gift-it, pay-it-forward model. If you can’t attend, you can pass your spot to a friend, family member, or someone in the community—so your membership always makes an impact.

Your membership includes the full workshop experience, with optional add-ons available if you’d like to enhance your experience.

Workshops are held the last Tuesday of each month from 7–8 PM at the YMCA in Amherst, NS.

Spots are limited to keep the experience meaningful and connected, with plans to expand as the community grows.

As the community evolves, membership details and pricing may be adjusted to better support the experience. You’ll always be notified in advance of any changes, with the option to continue or cancel before they take effect.
