The customer (“you”) is responsible for how they choose to use the work provided.
3. Ordering Process
By placing an order with Write Haven, you confirm that:
You are at least 18 years old, or have permission from a guardian.
All information supplied to us (instructions, word counts, deadlines, etc.) is accurate and complete.
You agree to make full payment before work begins (unless otherwise agreed).
We begin your order only after receiving full and clear requirements.
4. Delivery of Work
We will deliver your completed work by the agreed deadline, unless circumstances beyond our control delay completion (e.g. illness, technology failures, emergencies). In such rare cases, we will inform you as soon as possible.
The work will be delivered electronically to the email or platform you used to place your order.
5. Amendments / Revisions
To ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining fairness and business efficiency, Write Haven offers the following revision policy:
5.1 One Free Amendment
You are entitled to ONE free amendment within 7 days of delivery, provided that:
The amendment request is based on the original instructions, and
Does not introduce new requirements, different criteria, or additional work.
5.2 Additional Amendments
Any further changes, extra requirements, or new instructions will require an additional fee, which will be clearly communicated before additional work begins.
5.3 Misuse of Amendment Policy
Requests that significantly change the scope, structure, or aim of the completed work may be considered a new order.
6. Refund Policy
We aim to be fair, but because our work is a custom, digital service, we operate within UK consumer law on personalised goods. Therefore:
6.1 No Refunds After Delivery
You are not entitled to a refund once the completed work has been started or delivered, except in the circumstances outlined below.
6.2 When Refunds Are Granted
Refunds are only available if:

We fail to deliver the completed work by the agreed deadline
No refunds will be issued for any other reason, including dissatisfaction with grades, feedback, academic outcomes, or changes in requirements after work has begun.
6.3 Dissatisfaction
Because writing is subjective, dissatisfaction alone does not qualify for a refund.
However, we will use your one free revision to help resolve any issues raised based on your original instructions.

You will check the delivered work within the 7-day amendment window.

We are not responsible for grades, outcomes, academic decisions, or disciplinary actions resulting from misuse of the work.
8. Intellectual Property
Upon delivery and receipt of full payment, you are granted a licence to use the work for personal or educational purposes.
Write Haven retains the right to use anonymised excerpts of work for portfolio or marketing purposes unless you request otherwise.
9. Limitation of Liability
Write Haven will not be liable for:
Any academic penalties, grades, or decisions resulting from use of the work.
Losses resulting from instructions that were incomplete, unclear, or inaccurate.
Delays caused by factors beyond our control.
Our liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service.
10. Privacy and Confidentiality
Your personal information, order details, and work documents are kept strictly confidential.
We do not share client data with third parties unless required by law.
11. Right to Refuse Orders
We reserve the right to decline any order that:
Contains unethical, illegal, or inappropriate content
Violates academic integrity rules
Is not feasible within the requested timeframe
Conflicts with our professional guidelines
If this happens, a refund will be issued (if payment has been made).
