Most dropshipping courses don't work because the maths in them doesn't close.
Not "it's hard." It literally does not add up.
The median store advertising on Meta in 2026 runs a return on ad spend of 1.88. Once you count card fees, refunds, returns and app subscriptions, true break-even is between 2.01 and 2.23.
The typical store is underwater and doesn't know it, because every course stops the calculation at gross margin, where it still looks like a 65% business.
That one calculation is why the "3x markup" rule everyone teaches is wrong. At the actual 2026 benchmark you need 4.6x. A product landing at $10 has to sell at $46, not $30. Most people never find this out. They run out of money and assume they were bad at it.
WHAT THIS IS
A complete operating manual for building a dropshipping business, from having nothing to running a live store on paid traffic. Fifteen chapters, in order, no gaps.
Product research. Sourcing and true landed cost. Building the store. Writing the listing. Making the creative. Running the ads. Fulfilment. Staying legal in five countries. Selling the business at the end.
Every number is sourced and graded where it appears. Grade A means a government regulator, a company's own SEC filing, or a payment processor's own documentation. Grade D means everyone repeats it and nobody can source it.
You will know which is which every single time, without having to trust me.
THE TWO CHAPTERS NOBODY ELSE CAN WRITE
Appendix B - 17 claims this manual refuses to make. Seventeen things every other course in this niche teaches, that I went looking for a source for and could not find. The 3x markup rule. "Kill it at $100." "UGC beats studio creative." Each one listed, with what the data actually says instead.
Appendix C - 14 things I could not verify. Fourteen figures in this manual I couldn't confirm to my own standard. Listed, with exactly what I tried and where it fell down.
No course selling you the dream can publish either list. That's the product.
WHAT'S INSIDE
Chapters 1-2. The arithmetic. Real benchmarks, break-even ROAS, and the markup you actually need. Which country to sell into now that US duty-free imports are gone.
Chapters 3-4. Setup. Business structure, tax thresholds by market, and the payment-processing rules that quietly end more stores than bad ads do.
Chapters 5-6. Product. A 20-point validation scorecard, a landed-cost calculator that includes duty, and measured data on how long a winning product actually lasts.
Chapters 7-9. The store. Build order, the product page, and policies that are lawful in the US, UK, EU, Australia and Canada. Separately, because they are different.
Chapters 10-12. Traffic. What creative actually wins - the answer inverts what you have been told - campaign structure, and the statistics behind when to kill a test.
Chapters 13-15. Operating. Fulfilment, compliance, and what the business is worth when you sell it.
Four appendices. A 30-day launch checklist, the refused claims, the declared limits, and the full source list.
THREE THINGS YOU WON'T FIND ELSEWHERE
The US $800 duty-free threshold is gone. Abolished August 2025, made indefinite by rulemaking in June 2026. Chinese goods into America now carry roughly 33-35% in tariffs plus per-parcel brokerage. Any course written before mid-2026 is teaching a cost base that no longer exists.
Selling into the EU has no lawful route for a standard dropshipper. Under the General Product Safety Regulation you cannot place a product on the EU market without an EU-established responsible person. No small-seller exemption. Chapter 2 covers what to do instead.
"Kill it at $100 with no sales" throws away up to 45% of good products. The manual shows the arithmetic and gives you a kill rule that survives contact with statistics.
THE NUMBERS
93 pages. 21,600+ words. 15 chapters. 64 sources across 46 domains. 53 data tables. 5 markets covered separately. 84 action checkpoints.
WRITTEN AUGUST 2026, AND VERSIONED
Four of the regulations in this manual changed in the twelve months before it was written. Two more change during 2027. When they change again it gets updated, and you own every future version at no extra cost.
Last updated: 22 August 2026. v1.0
WHO THIS IS NOT FOR
You want a list of winning products. There isn't one in here, because anything I could put in a list is already saturated by the time you read it.
You want to be told this is easy. Roughly 1-5% of people who start this build something sustainable. That figure is in Part 0.
You want income screenshots. I don't have a track record in dropshipping and I don't pretend to. What I have is 64 sources and the discipline to grade every one.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL
No refunds or exchanges are issued for digital products once they have been downloaded or accessed. You'll be asked to confirm you understand this before checkout.
