TL;DR

Kajabi is worth it if you need enough of what it offers to justify the cost.

🧩 It covers a lot

Kajabi brings website, email, products, community, checkout, funnels, and marketing tools into one system.

💸 It comes at a price

Kajabi starts at $179/month, so the value depends on how much of that all-in-one setup you’ll actually use.

⚖️ Pay for the business you have now

The smartest setup is usually the one that solves today’s problems without making you pay for a software stack you might need someday.

✨ Stan gives you room to grow

Start with the tools that matter now, then add more as your business evolves without having to rebuild your setup around a completely different platform.

The better question is not which platform does more. It is how much platform your business actually needs. Explore Stan Store →

At some point, every Creator business starts to feel held back by a clunky, disconnected software stack.

A platform for your course, another for email, a stand-alone landing page, checkout, and on top of all of that, your community. It’s a lot to juggle. That’s when the idea of an ✨ all-in-one✨ solution begins to sound less like sharp marketing and more like real relief.

But that convenience comes with a fairly serious price tag. Kajabi starts at $179 per month, so the real question isn’t whether it’s a capable platform. It obviously is. The better question is whether you need enough of Kajabi’s components to make paying for it all worthwhile.

If your business is mostly about turning an audience into customers, selling a course, booking coaching calls, or getting a digital product out into the world, that can be a lot of platform to pay for.

Is Kajabi worth it? Before you decide, let’s look at what you’re really paying for, what actual users have to say, and when the cost starts to make sense.

How Much Does Kajabi Cost?

Kajabi sits at the premium end of the Creator software market. As the pricing comparison shows, costs rise considerably as you need more products, contacts, and websites, and access higher-tier features.

It makes more sense to think of Kajabi as a replacement for several subscriptions than to compare it with a single-purpose tool. If its website, course hosting, email, funnels, and community features are replacing software you already pay for separately, the numbers can work.

The calculation changes when you only need a fraction of that functionality. A full website, a large contact allowance, or an advanced marketing infrastructure has little value if it sits unused.

Who is Kajabi For?

Kajabi is worth considering when consolidation is the goal. If your business already relies on a full website, regular email marketing, funnels, community, and automation, bringing more of that into one system can justify the premium.

For Creators who are still building or validating their first offers, it is harder to make the same case. Committing to advanced infrastructure before you know what your business actually needs can add high unnecessary costs.

How Kajabi Fits the Customer Journey

Kajabi’s strength is its fairly seamless customer experience.

A customer can land on your page, join your email list, make a purchase, access a course, and join your community without being handed from one platform to another along the way. For the Creator, this can make the business easier to manage because the customer journey, payments, content, and marketing are fundamentally in sync.

That setup is especially useful when your sales process has a few more steps. Someone might find you through socials, spend time on your email list, buy a course, and later move into a membership. Kajabi gives you more control over how those pieces connect.

Not every Creator needs that much orchestration. If most people discover you on social and are ready to buy when they click your bio, a shorter path can work just as well, often with much less setup.

What Do Kajabi Users Say?

Kajabi reviews tell a more useful story than the feature list because the experience seems to depend heavily on the user’s stage of business.

At the time of writing, Kajabi holds a 4.1/5 rating from 93 reviews on G2

A verified current user, described it as a “one-stop shop for marketing, sales, and production,” while also noting that some of its individual tools lack the depth of more specialized software.

Trustpilot is more mixed, with Kajabi sitting at 3.5/5 across more than 2,300 reviews. Positive reviews regularly mention the convenience of having everything in one place, while lower-rated reviews raise concerns about support, reporting, pricing, and technical issues.

Reddit adds another perspective. The conversations there tend to be less about whether Kajabi works and more about when it becomes worth paying for. That distinction comes up often enough to take note. Kajabi is not necessarily a platform Creators dislike. For many, it is a platform they consider once their business has grown into it.

Kajabi is an amazing platform, it’s just not for everyone, and certainly not for a beginner who is really really new to selling courses.

It is handy having all tools in the one place, but there is some trade-offs.

Before You Choose Kajabi…

The easiest way to decide whether Kajabi is worth the price is to look at what it would actually replace in your business.

If you are already paying separately for a website, email platform, course host, funnel builder, community tool, and checkout software, Kajabi may consolidate enough of that stack to make the monthly cost easier to justify, or even save you a few dollars.

But if most of those boxes are still hypothetical, you are not really consolidating anything yet. You are paying in advance for a version of your business you may or may never need.

Before signing up, ask yourself:

  • Which tools am I already paying for? What does that total?
  • Which Kajabi features would replace those tools immediately?
  • Which features do I realistically expect to use in the next six months?
  • Am I solving a current problem, or preparing for growth I have not reached yet?
  • Would a simpler setup let me launch, learn what sells, and upgrade later?

That last question matters. Creator businesses rarely grow in a perfectly predictable direction.

Starting with Stan Store gives you room to test that demand first, then add more sophisticated selling and marketing tools when the business gives you a reason to.
